Is there any worthy seat pad on Amazon?

I've some troubles when using different boats, so (very) different seats, some have exceptionally large holes and it seems I am compatible only with a small range of shapes.

Is there a pad that can work on most situations even if not all of them?

I'm lucky I have no problems of ergs, only the marathon lets me we small "under the bottom" soreness for a couple of days, where my wife has severe blister problems, but that can be fixed with a towel.

I'm asking about Amazon just because in Italy the shipment would be prohibitive for those gadgets.

The one several members of our club use is the Skwoosh Row Pad Seat Cushion. Most of them like it a lot. It has gel cells which claim to help.

Just as many of our members use cutouts from yoga pads and seem just as happy with the result.

seems the good one, and it also seems there is no way to get one in Italy without expensive international shipment

You could buy this seat-pad at a European internet store?
https://www.4row.com/de/en/accessories/cushions/

I have a Godfrey seat pad/EU-Row seat pad:
https://oarsport.co.uk/shop/seat-pad
https://www.eurow.eu/en/parts-rowing-boats/seats-rowing-boat.html

On the Ergo I just use a towel. I have an RP3 and although it's a fantastic machine, it has one of the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat on.

A seat pad will change the height of the rower by between 0.5 and 1 cm, you may want to reflect this in the setup of the boat.

Kind regards, Berend.

It's a shame that the top-end pad is not easily available. As I said, many members of our club find the home-made pads just as effective. These are made of various padding material, like yoga mats. I took a photo of one of them this morning and you can view it at or near http://tamparowingclub.org/Portals/0/Images/JSS/SeatPad.JPG

I wish you more comfortable rowing,

Thank you this is an appreciated consideration. I will go for a yoga mat, if I find an old one to cut. I think I will have a try at a real seat pad only if I find one at some event, even if I do not know when this will happen, as there will be few regattas at the end of the year, and may also be not so attractive for sellers.
