Very basic results of Universiade
St. Catharines, Buffalo, Canada
13-17 July 1993

The German magazine 'Rudersport' always has detailed results
listed of (even minor) regattas.
It tells you something about the organisation of the
events in Buffalo that this German magazine is not
able to provide detailed listings.

The listing below is extracted / distilled from a report
in Rudersport about the rowing event in Buffalo.

I just repeat here some of the complaints from the German reporter

-He complained that training was only allowed between 8.00 and
17.00 hours, despite high temperatures.
-He described: looking at the Albano-system would make people dizzy
-Poor or no results available
-Crews were troubled by waterplants, even in the racing lanes.

It is sad that nobody seems to be able to supply us with
the results of the Universiade rowing event
If someone has more than the poor list I could make up from
the German report, than: please, please let the rowing community
know about
