Here’s a new rowing-themed feature film which will hit the big screens
(in France and Belgium at least) in February. It’s already screened
at festivals in Rome and Namur, to critical acclaim.

Hm, he looks a bit older than 15 to me. Is he a rower who can act, or
an actor who can row?

From the picture it certainly looks as if bow can row.

The spiel gives us a fine account of the real benefits that rowing
offers troubled kids of all ages. A sharpish change of subject from
Bellefroid's earlier work on Ruanda!

Will you get to see this film, Dave? If so, please write up your reactions.

And tell us what how well rowing in Belgium would really support a
youngster like Alex.

Thanks -
Carl
