Ok, I guess you could say I've been a WCW fan for a while... I was usually
entertained with WCW, in other words the entertaining parts out numbered the
boring parts. It seems that everyone (including the straight mark fans) agree
that WWF is getting better and WCW is getting worse. Here are some reasons:

WWF - gives you what you want to see during the show.

WCW - thinks they have to "tease" you with what you want to see, then don't
show it because they think it will make you want to watch the next show.

WWF - builds more heat on their matches, makes even the crappiest matches more
entertaining.

WCW - just says that Lex Luger is going to face Buff Bagwell, or Bret Hart is
going to face Curt Hennig. In turn, makes the match unimportant.

WWF - gives you a main event worth watching.

WCW - forces a Hogan/Piper, or Lex,Sting/Nash,Hogan match then tries to get
Schiavonne to make us believe that it is the "greatest main event in the
history of Nitro"

WCW - Ends the G.D. shows the same way week after week, month after month.

WCW - really impractical with their angles: nWo begins to fight each other,
and members of WCW feel that it is time to go out to the ring and attack?
C'mon, if your enemies are going to fight each other, you are not going to get
between them, you are going to sit back and watch them destroy each other.
Also, how many damn times are we going to see this time limit angle with the TV
belt? This is the most re-occuring angle "in the history of our sport"

On another note, Jericho is the most impressive person in WCW right now. He
must write his own stuff because those dumbass writers, bookers, whatever you
want to call them, can't think of stuff like that. I mean, bring scales out to
make sure the guy isn't too over weight to be a cruiserweight, then beat the
hell out of him them... mark out moment to me.

Well, sorry to bore you with my thoughts, but hell I figured you'd read
anything if you'll read the crap about Save By The Bell!

You really want to see Stone Cold Stunning Steve Austin
and VinniMac getting it on? I don't know about everyone
else, but I'd rather see Norman Smiley (former World
Champion) wrestling Austin than the owner of Titan.

When was that? I have been watching Nitro and Thunder
regularly, and I always turn the TV off afterward feeling very
satisfied with what I saw.

WCW is building heat as well. Take the whole Saturn/Goldberg
deal, or Jericho/Iaukea, DDP/Raven, Nash/Hogan, Sting/Savage,
etc...there's plenty of heat to go around. I myself look forward to
seeing Nash and Hogan wrestle...and I like the heat building up.

>WCW - just says that Lex Luger is going to face Buff Bagwell, or Bret Hart is

I don't think it makes in unimportant...it's just that WCW has so
much star talent right now that they assume that you recognize
the names and that it's going to be a big match up. Bagwell,
though, does suck.

>WWF - gives you a main event worth watching.

Which one was that? D/X vs. AOD? <yawn> Who wants to
sit through RAW and watch HHH and pals piss on motorcycles,
stand in the ring and tell everyone to "suck it", and spray paint
the stage hands? You don't see that kind of crap on WCW.
I'm with Cornette...this isn't wrestling.

>WCW - forces a Hogan/Piper, or Lex,Sting/Nash,Hogan match then tries to get

I agree here...Schiavonne keeps telling us every week that this
is the biggest Nitro event ever...but then, this is the guy who also
said that Stink was the best champion ever in WCW.

>WCW - really impractical with their angles:

OK, the nWo bit is getting old, and I too am tired of seeing good
quality matches end in DQ every week when the whole nWo
storms the ring and attacks. But, WWF angles are also stretching
it quite a bit too. VinnieMac and Austin? D/X pissing on bikes?
When did you ever see the nWo pissing on anything? Ok, so
Hogan hit Savage with his car <rolls eyes>, but then...they all
push it.

>C'mon, if your enemies are going to fight each other, you are not going to

Agreed.

Also agreed. Let Benoit have the damn strap already! :)

>On another note, Jericho is the most impressive person in WCW right now.

Again, agreed.

Sign me up, I was marking out big time!

I agree to a point, Saturn/Goldberg has a little heat, but still one day Saturn
just kinda stood up for no reason and was mad at Goldberg. If Goldberg had
cost him the TV title, or beat the hell outta Raven, I could understand Saturn
wanting to feud with him.

Jericho/Iaukea - I still say Jericho has control of his angles because it has
really good heat.

Hogan/Nash - Really good heat, this is one we've wanted to see since the
creation of the nWo

but look at this:
Buff/Luger - Came out of no where, already happened several times. How many
PPV's is Buff going to have to job to Lugi?

Almost all of Bret Hart's feuds just popped up for no reason (except for Flair,
WCW made pretty good heat with that one)

I do agree though, WCW has pretty good heat on the first three

I would rather see MacMahon vs. SCSA. As would all the other marks who
will buy the PPV when they make this match.

It doesn't take much then does it?

The only real heat in the feuds in WCW are DDP/Raven, and the whole NWO
breakup but that's never gonna happen.

Nash vs. Hogan? How many more months before we finally see that?

It does make it unimportant. WCW is just too lazy to promote a match
properly.
If you think Buff is no good you are just plain stupid.

Me and millions of other people like to watch DX.
No, you don't see spraypaint in WCW. Idiot. The WWF has even admitted
blatantly copying WCW in terms of using spraypaint.

At least you got something right.

Yeah, WCW angles are impractical. the example the original poster gave is
the best one.

Then why did you disagree in the point before?
