If one were to believe that WCW can keep up the good and surprising
angles (ala Mongo turning and joining the Horsemen) maybe they could pull
off Hogan being the 3rd man in the invasion. Think about it:
1)Hogan has been gone during this whole invasion thing
2)He's schedualed to return sometime this summer
3)He is the greatest wrestler in WWF history
4)He's not liked as a face in WCW
5)Sets up the Hogan/Savage match thats rumored for Halloween Havoc
6)Lugar turning is too predictable
7)Hogan returning after Sting/Savage/Lugar lose to Diesel/Ramon and saving
WCW is too predictable

Of course the term "too predictable" usually goes with WCW, until they did
the Mongo angle. Do they have it in them to pull off another one?
Or how about this...Who is the most loved WCW wrestler of all?
Sting. What if he turned? That's a stretch. He could make Savage and
Lugar look real dumb for painting their faces.
I know I'll get beat up for this...but I welcome another additional
thoughts or comments.

IMO it's a great idea because the only way they could even hope to sell
Nash & Hall as heels would be to team them with Hogan. If Eric Bischoff
has any brains he would do it. Unfortunately, I think Eric did his one
shocker turn of the year with Mongo and we'll end up with someone like
The Booty Man as the 3rd member of the WWF team.

Any comments?

Been doing some thinking about who would make a good 3rd Team WWF member.

What about some other possibilities:
Tatanka
Barry Horrowitz
Bob Backlund
Dominic DeNucci
Bruno Sammartino (he is signed to ref, perhaps he could be a biased ref
for the match)
Tony Garea
Rick Martel
Pat Patterson
Greg Valentine

And my personal pick for the best third:
The Blue Meanie Toy, reunited once again with Big Daddy Cool.

Heck, Stevie Richards could be the manager.

I won't "beat you up" because I think this would be a great angle.
Sadly, I don't think it will ever happen. HH will never accept that
everyone doesn't love him, or that he has gotten boring and stale.
It would take a true "professional"(eg Flair or Brett Hart) to agree to
an angle that contrary to the needs of their own ego.

I agree...I figured that the last ppv for wcw would be a piece of
trash...and then sorely regretted NOT buying it after I found out what
occurred. So, I'm not going to blow it this time; and I'm going to pray
that Nash and Hall either 1) show up with Hogan (the first in 10 years that
I'd actually be rooting for him) or 2) show up with nobody and have Sting
turn on both Lex and Macho. We can all pray that some of the creativity
that Bischoff and crew dreamed up last PPV will continue.

Enjoy!

Richard
