Yes, he was a karate champion... back in the 80s, as I recall. Saw some
articless on him in some karate magazines back when I was in high school.
I popped on the name the first time he showed up... "Ernest Miller?!?

(BTW, I'm bored, and doing a web search to confirm my fading memory...)
Ack. Over half an hour later, and no results. Guess I shouldn't look on

But yes, Ernest Miller was, in my recollectin, at one time a
"professionial" karate champ.
