So much for the Austin ass-kissers who tried to use
Summerslam as proof that he was some sort of company
man by laying down clean for Foley. The prima donna
simply didn't want to be a true team player and elevate
3H the way he SHOULD have.

Meltzer says Austin had no problem jobbing to HHH and had agreed to do it.
I'll believe him over unconfirmed rumors.
Chance, what if Austin puts HHH over clean in the future in a title
defense? Will you give it up then? =)

Yes.
When Austin finally separates himself from the closed community
of Foley, Undertaker, and Rock... and elevates some others to that
final level.
Look at Austin's title history. Other than SummerSlam, how many
titles has he lost to clean pins? He's literally given away titles, lost
in first blood matches (with the aid of outside interference), had
evil referees give him the shaft; but no clean jobs... and that was
to others already in the main-event status (other than Kane, who
proved to be a one-night wonder).
I felt the same way when Michaels finally did the middle-of-the-ring
thing for Austin a Wrestlemania. Too bad he waited until the final
match of his career to do it.
