At Bash at the Beach Hulk Hogan comes on down, and everyone is screaming
"Whose side is he on???" and he sees Savage on the mat. He then proceeds to
attack him!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, we have seen the heel turn of the Hulkster!

I have not seen so much debris thrown into the ring since the night it rained
chairs at the ECW Arena!

Hulk rants on and on, saying to Gene "Eric, I'm bored!" and a great line from
Hulk "All this crap in the ring represents the fans!" and "If it wasn't for
Hulk Hogan, brother, Eric Bischoff would be in Minneapolis selling meat?"

IMO WCW had it coming to 'em. =^)

Hulkamania may have died unofficially 0n June 19, 1993; it has met its death
WAY PAST ITS PRIME tonight, July 7, 1996. It's about time.

I'd definitely have to agree. On the other hand, the pessimist in me
says this is going to be very short-lived. Remember, he just finished
shooting a family movie, and he'll lose big box-office bucks with this.
Either A)Hogan has decided to screw the movie scene and actually
pretend like he cares about the wrestling fans (unlikely) or B) He's
going to be WCW's "secret agent"

PS-Was it just me, or did anybody else crack up when Tony said "Hulk
Hogan... you can just go straight to hell."?

I have to agree I loved Hogan turning out to be the third man. I may
finalyy become a Hogan fan. But I have to agree that in my gut I think
Hogan may actually be an agent to try and break up the "Outsiders".

Sadly, this is most likely the case. Bischoff's been redeeming himself of
late, but if he takes this obvious (and kiddie-pandering) route, he'll undo
all he's done that's given him any respect as a booker from me (and likely
from many others on RSPW). Hopefully, Hogan will stick with the heel image
and get some more moves.

Hogan turning heel is a cool angle. But why do I get this awful feeling
that in less than a year we're going to see Hogan begging for his fans
back, the same way Sgt. Slaughter so pathetically did five years ago
wanting his country back?
