Scenario: It's a week before Wrestlemania XV. Shane McMahon is running the
whole f'n show now that Papa Vinnie
is recovering from his injuries on 2/14. Stone Cold Steve Austin is set to
face Ken Shamrock in the TV main event.

Raw opens with Shane & the remains of Team Corporate. McMahon has lost Big
Bossman (to the Ministry of Darkness), Kane
(sent, supposedly, to the sanitarium), and Rock (injured, out another week
or two), while picking up Titan (Giant). Shane says that
indeed Shamrock v. Austin will be the main event, but he'll be the guest
ref.

Cue the theme from "The Saint" (late-60s). A masked man known simply as The
Saint makes his way out. Saint offers to do Shane a
favor and ref the match in his stead, because the last time a guest ref
worked a Shamrock match, he lost the IC title, and also because
Shane is too biased. Shane tells him they'll talk about it. They leave, and
Shane hands the mic over to Titan, the best talker in the group.
Titan says he'll squash Triple H & X-Pac in a handicap match later in the
show, and they won't make it to Wrestlemania.

We come back from break, and we find Shane unconscious, attended to by
"Uncle Pat" & "Uncle Jerry". Vince, on crutches, shows up,
displeased with what has happened to his son. Brisco tells him about the
Saint.

Match 1: IC champ Val Venis retains beating Blue Meanie with the Money Shot.
Match 2: Tag Champs Jeff Jarrett & Owen Hart are out with Debra to battle
The Hardys. Pretty much a squash.
After a break, McMahon limps to his quarters to find Brisco & Patterson KOd.
The announcers bring up that Manhunter, the one man that Austin
trusts more than anyone, was beaten "last week" (via screwjob) in what
turned into a loser-leaves-town match. However, as Jerry Lawler points out,
the sudden appearance of Saint, coupled with the mysterious attacks on
Shane, Brisco, & Patterson, point to Manhunter bucking the orders of the
McMahons.
Cue "The Hunter". The Big Brother from Downtown is here, after all, with
Lady J in tow, plus Gorilla Monsoon. Lawler goes ballistic seeing
the former President. Monsoon says that he's looked at the tape of the match
between Manhunter & Test in which the stips were added at the last
minute, and due to the interference of Shamrock, Shane, & Chyna, he's
reversing the decision and DQing Test. Manhunter & Test will go at it again
tonight, but with no Team Corporate members allowed. Manhunter & LJ deny any
knowledge of the Saint, saying they just came to the arena after a
candlelight dinner.

Match 3: Goldust loses via DQ to Al Snow due to Shattered Dreams.
Match 4: Manhunter destroys Test this time, finishing him with a Nightmare
Plunge that forces Test to take a stretcher ride. Titan comes out after, but
Manhunter locks eyes on him, then speaks.

"Yo, Gargantua! Back off a second. How many times are you going to let these
suit-and-tie jabrones tell you what to do, man? You've been hired not to win
titles, but to be another hired goon, just like you were down South. You're
better than that."

Chyna cuts him off, but his words have their desired effect. Titan turns on
Chyna, and gives her the chokeslam, then leaves.

Match 5: Titan has X-Pac & H3 beaten, but then the lights go out. Kane has
returned, or has he? In truth, it's Chyna wearing the costume, mask, and
large lifts
in her boots. Test returns, but Titan runs them both off.

Match 6: Scheduled as Shamrock-Austin, but Saint comes out instead of
Austin. He won't ref, but he'll fight Shamrock instead. Says he doesn't know
where
Austin is. Vince limps out, and accuses Saint of being Austin in disguise.
(KEERRASSSHHH!!) Austin, though, is out, head bob and all. He'll ref the
match, as a
favor to Saint. Vince says no, he'll ref. Austin hits the Stunner on Vince.
Shamrock attacks Austin. Saint attacks Shamrock. It isn't a match. It's a
slaughter. Shamrock whipped
into the ropes. Austin catches him and sets up for what could be a cradle
DDT, but no, Saint hits the Stunner! IT'S A CONCUSSION BLAST!! Saint covers
Shamrock, and "Austin"
counts the fall. The masks come off. Saint has been Austin all along, and
Manhunter, with the aid of makeup and a fake mustache & goatee, posed as
Austin. SCSA grabs the mic, and
tells a stunned Vince that his turn is coming again, only this time, it'll
be the Hunter in the cage with Vince.

On Heat, the night of Wrestlemania, Vince, miraculously healed, gets
squashed in the cage. During the PPV, Austin gets the belt back from
Mankind. Team Corporate dissolves, as Chyna rejoins DX,
Shamrock goes postal on the stooges, and Kane returns to team with Titan to
beat the Acolytes. The next night on Raw, Vince finally announces his
retirement from active involvement from the WWF.
Manhunter & Austin celebrate, saying that maybe there's hope to take care of
that other smug corporate jackass in Atlanta (Eric Bischoff) after all.

Never the end.
