This match will make TAJIRI a star in his homeland (he was a midcard junior
before he went to America, his biggest exposure being matches in New Japan)
just for how long he challenged for.

By the way, fans chanted "Nippon! Nippon! Nippon!" ("Japan! Japan! Japan!")
in support of TAJIRI during the match. The Smackdown! brand may run a show
in Japan in July.

I have no problem with this.

Well, 75% don't suck. Faces going over is usually a good thing, except when
Test is one of the faces.

Bleh.

Poor Christian.

One question, why hasn't Haku been on any of these Japanese shows? He's a big
name in Japan and you'd think they'd want to take advantage of that. After a
brief run as a Sumo wrestler named Makushita Fukonishima, he turned pro and
debuted in AJPW. He has since worked for SWS, WAR and NJPW. He and Yoshiaki
Yatsu held the SWS World Tag Team Titles as The Natural Powers.
I want Haku back on my TV.

I mark very, very hard for this. Tajiri deserves success on both sides
of the Pacific.

It appears that Steiner was demoted from the main event from the previous
day, which was Steiner/Kane v. HHH/Batista. Probably because he was
wrestling like shit and was begging for the crowd to cheer him.

You can also ask why Funaki hasn't been on the shows. I think Haku, if he is
still employed, is on the SD roster.
