News: No news this week, so I'll post all the CMLL champs just for
informational purposes:

World's Heavyweight Champion: Cien Caras
Mexican Heavyweight Champion: El Egipcio

World's Light Heavyweight Champion: Jerry Estrada
Mexican Light Heavyweight Champion: Mascara Sagrada

World's Middleweight Champion: Atlantis
Mexican Middleweight Champion: Octagon

World's Welterweight Champion: Misterioso
Mexican Welterweight Champion: Ciclon Ramirez

World's 6-Man Tag Team Champions: Los Infernales (MS-1, Pirata Morgan,
Satanico)

World's Tag Team Champions: Vulcano and Tony Arce

Popularity Ratings: No popularity ratings this week.

Results:

First Match:

Roco Valente (Mexico?), Vulcano (Mexico), and Tony Arce (Mexico)
(heels) vs. Mano Negra (masked-Mexico), America (masked-?), and Love
Machine (masked-Oregon, USA); Heels win 2/3 falls.

This is the first time I've seen either Valente or America. Watching
Arce, Vulcano, and Valente wrestle is a real problem because all 3 wear
identical ring attire, including weird Van Vader-like things that cover
their facial features, and all 3 are about the same size. Valente
looked OK. America was pretty wild. A very acrobatic plancha-diving
kind of guy. I liked him. Anybody know who he is?

First Fall: America pins Tony Arce after a back flip plancha from the
top rope.

Second Fall: Mano Negra submits to all 3 rudos as does America.

Third Fall: Love Machine takes a bolo punch below the belt from Vulcano
(unseen by the referees), but is spotted when he retaliates, and the
rudos win by DQ.

Second Match:

MS-1 (Mexico), Pirata Morgan (Mexico), and Satanico (Mexico) aka Los
Infernales (CMLL world 6-man tag team champions) (heels) vs. Jaque
Mate (masked-Mexico), Masakre (Mexico), and Pierroth, Jr.
(masked-Mexico) aka Los Intocables; Los Infernales win 2/3 falls.

The interesting thing here is that these are the top 2 heel tag teams
in CMLL, but Los Infernales definitely emerged as number 1 after this
match. This probably sets up a 6-man tag championship match between
these two teams.

First Fall: All 3 Infernales Pearl Harbor Los Intocables and pin Jaque
Mate.

Second Fall: MS-1 submits to all 3 Intocables.

Third Fall: The Infernales pin all the Intocables.

Third Match: Los Brazos (Mexico) ("heels") vs. Solomon Grundy
(Tennessee, USA), El Vampiro Canadiense (Ontario, Canada), and El Rayo
de Jalisco, Jr. (masked - Jalisco, Mexico) (faces)

The interesting thing here is the apparent return of Los Brazos to true
heeldom. We'll see. No Makhan Singh (Aaron Grundy) this week. I wonder
if he's grown tired of Mexico already. Also interesting is how Brazo de
Plata is completely dwarfed by Solomon Grundy. Given that Grundy also
makes "Makhan Singh" look small, he must be a pretty large guy. Singh
is typically billed as weighing 380 lbs., and Grundy exceeds that by
quite a bit.

First Fall: Brazo de Plata (El Super Porky) pins El Vampiro with a 747
plancha dive from the top turnbuckle.

Second Fall: Solomon Grundy pins Brazo de Oro with a 747 from the top
turnbuckle.

Third Fall: Brazo pins Vampiro Canadiense.

Fourth Match: Huracan Sevilla (Mexico) (face) seconded by Black Magic
(aka Norman Smiley, UK) vs. Bestia Salvaje (Mexico) (heel) seconded by
Brazo (aka Juan Alvarado, Mexico); Bestia Salvaje wins 2/3 falls.

This was a "caballera contra caballera" (hair vs. hair) match set up by
last week's match pitting La Fiera, Sangre Chicana, and Bestia Salvaje
against Love Machine, Apolo Dantes, and Huracan Sevilla, which ended
with some hard feelings between these two.

First Fall: Huracan Sevilla pins Bestia Salvaje with a Frankensteiner.
Referee Gato Montini executes an *extremely* slow count.

Second Fall: Huracan Sevilla submits to a modified bow-and-arrow.

Third Fall: This fall made the match. It was filled with spectacular
acrobatic plancha dives from the top turnbuckle to the arena floor and
ended up with Bestia Salvaje winning by submission.

As the telecast was going off the air, Huracan Sevilla was losing his
hair to a barber in center ring.
