Why turn Hogan heel when he wont job to anyone? Now they have in WCW as
top heel a guy who will never put the faces over. EVER. Hogan wont job
for Sting. He wont job for Flair or Savage or anyone else unless its a
major screw job, and even then he probably wouldnt.

Also Hogan has a movie coming out in November, and you can damn well bet
he'll be a face well before it comes out (can you picture him promoting
this movie to kids on the Tonight show as a heel?)

There is no question. No doubt. None. Hogan is only heel until Halloween
Havoc and his match with Savage. After that he will turn face in short
order and feud with Kevin Nash, who should have beaten the Giant for the
title by then.

Besides why be a heel again. Classy Freddy Blassie is retired!

Big deal. So what? Hogan's turn will go down in history. Whatever happens
after this is anti-climatic.

You have to get into the politics of the organization. Hogan no longer
has anywhere else to go, and to take his marketability. Vince burned all
his WWF bridges with that Huckster/Natcho Man stupidity, and he would be
eaten alive in ECW. So he now does, for the first time in 12 years,
exactly what they tell him. And its about time.

As I've said before, I think that this Hogan thing is just going to be him
pretending to do a heel turn, and he'll turn on Nash at Hog Wild, beat him
at the Clash and then retire.

Since when do kids watch the Tonight Show? Last time I checked, it aired at
11:35pm. If anything, he might pitch the movie to the parents who stayed up.

It all depends on your time zone. In my neck of the woods (or more
accurately -- ocean) the Tonight Show is on at 10:30pm.

You are assuming he still has the same booking power he had at the start
of his WCW stint. To me, the fact that he was convinced to do a heel
turn (albeit kicking and screaming) may mean that Hogan realizes that his
old schtick won't wash anymore, or that WCW won't let Hogan get away with
the same stale routine forever. But, either way, the indestructable bit
works better with heels than faces, possibly because fans like an underdog
face, and also, wrestling fans realize that eventually, heels get theirs
in the end. I just hope that Hogan doesn't turn back to a face before he
has to job to Sting or someone.
