One still has to wonder why Eric Kulas is still considered "wrestling
news" when his only wrestling claim to fame was the fact that New Jack
sliced him up like a prize ham.
GC
then again, that is saying something

That's where I remember him from! When I first read the name I couldn't for
the life of me place it. Did that kid ever actually wrestle a decent match
in his life or was he just a special attraction for ECW mutants to boo?
Thanks for the info. I guess the question posed still stands, why the f'
would 1bob list him as one dead wrestlers if he never, ya know, actually
wrestled (bleeding for New Jack don't count as wrestling, or else the guys
he bounty-hunted could also claim to be wrestlers).
He has a few indy gigs after the trial ended.

Mainly because the "Mass Transit" incident was a huge news item when it
broke, and the lawsuit was big news for a long time. Even though he
only had one professional match, Eric "Mass Transit" Kulas is an
important bit player in pro wrestling folklore.
He is kinda on the same level as L Brant Bozell or whatever his name is
what ran the PTC. Never wrestled a match, but if he died tomorrow it
would be a major wrestling news item.

on topic and scared

The Power of BOB Impales You.
We were but you were busy playing playstation.
Depends what you say is "real" professional. Kulas worked on a number of shows
in 1996 for an indy group(And for the life of me, I want to say POW, but I
really can't remember the name) here in RI that pretty much does charity shows
with a group of in-house wrestlers, but would occasionaly bring in guys like
Tito Santana, King Kong Bundy or Jim Neidhart (SHHAAAADUPPP!) to work the top
match. They used to have a cable access show on Saturday nights where they
would run tapes of their latest event, and some of the guys weren't half bad.
As a matter of fact, some of these guys got used as bump taking bar patrons in
a number of the APA "Friendly Tap" skits WWF used to shoot at Tim White's bar
anytime they came to Providence. They also got a lot of promotion on the top
radio station in RI cause one of the morning dj's was a wrestler in the
promotion. I seem to remember seeing Kulas work as a lower midcard gimmick,
sometimes with midgets on at least a few shows. I was shocked when I heard he
was the one New Jack carved up, and couldn't believe they couldn't find a
better worker in this area for an ECW show. He definitely was still very green,
and his weight was a pretty big hinderence to his skills. Anyway, I think his
previous experience came into play in the trial, as the Kulas attorney acted
like he was some kid off the street, but then it came out he had wrestled for
this other group. I had heard he did a few spots after the incident, which also
may have been brought up during the trial.

Thank god. I hated that fat piece of shit since the first day I met him. He
almost got ECW banned from Boston. Thank god he is dead. I usaully don't say
such horrible things but if anyone deserves to be dead he does. Him Chad and
John Henry
He wrestled comedy matches on the new england circuit. big piece of shit. So is
his old man.
