There was also Rudy Diamond (who got his clock cleaned by Mr. Orndorff big
time when he wore a "Paula T-shirt"). He was sort of an odd jobber, in
that in his early days, he was rather skinny. Then after a brief absence,
he came back more physically fit (e.g., more muscles). Didn't do much
good, and he continued to get clobbered...

There was also pre-blonde Billy Travis. I remember him for having a
wooden chair cracked on his head by The Iron Shiek.

Does NO ONE here remember the great Arthur Washington? Ted DiBiase didn't
feel like wrestling a squash, so he paid Arthur to wrestle for him. Arthur
did and got his clock cleaned in about 30 seconds. DiBiase and Virgil
promptly beat him up and took back the money. :> One of the funniest
things I've seen on WWF TV, yet no one seems to mention it...

One of my all time favorite moments in the history of wresling was a
Piper's Pit segment. The guest was a jobber. I believe it was Frank
Marconi(correct me if I am wrong.) Piper went on and on about how great
he(Piper) was, and kept berating the jobber by saying you never win a
damn match. The jobber respondd with a very funny "I try my best". Piper
responded Oh you try your best and both he and Cowboy Bob Orton
proceeded to kick the crap out of Marconi. Truly funny stuff.

I heard on Superstars (or something) that Jose Castillo of Los
Baricuas is the son of one of the Conquisadors. Is that true?
Boy, I bet that kid never bragged about his dad being able to
beat up other people's dads at school ...

Sadly, I was born in '75, so quite a bit of my wrestling
experience is in the late 80s and the 90s. So most of the
jobbers I remember are from the late 80s. Like Lombardi,
Horowitz, and Leaping Lanny Poffo. Even as a kid I wondered what
would encourage a guy to keep wrestling after at least a hundred
straight losses ...

Iron Mike Sharpe rules the world! He even STARRED in No Holds Barred when
he lost a match to Hogan. But I know his job was just for the movie. His
loaded forearm pad could knock Hogan on his ass any day of the week!

But anyway, Iron Mike Sharpe was NOT in No Holds Barred. That was
Demolition Ax, aka Masked Superstar, sans mask and facepaint, who kind
of looks like Iron Mike without anything covering his face.

However, Iron Mike Sharpe did appear fighting Hulk Hogan on tv. This
was in a Dolly Parton video during the late eighties.

The reason I loved Iron Mike Sharpe was the way he would talk
(and growl) during the match. Why doesn't anyone (except Owen -
"Sharpshooter, yah!") else do that anymore?

You guys forgot Kato (aka Paul Diamond).

After Tanaka left, he was subjugated to the same role
as the Brooklyn Brawler. Often jobbing for Tatanka
and Koko B. Ware.

That reminds me, I was remember watching the 'ol Prime
Time years ago and there was a jobber match FOR(!)
the Brookyn Brawler. He beat the guy up, then superplexed
him for the victory. The only time I ever saw him win
a match. (Except for a mini feud with Big Bully Busek where
he beat the Bully by countout, only to lose to him the next
week) Does anyone else remember these victories?
