Worst screw job ending ever?

Hmmm...what was the worst, most pathetic screw job ending ever? Right
now, I would have to say the Hart-Michaels ending at Survivor Series. At
least there is some believability to most screw job endings. The twin
refs for the Hogan-Andre match, or your basic ring interference, or
referee missing something. You could always suspend some believability
over them when necessary. This one takes teh cake.
Was it a work? Was it real? Does it matter? It certainly ranks up
there as one of the most pathetic, if not THE most pathetic screw job
ending ever. Along with the Summer Slam (?) Owen-Austin ending. What a
waste.

This would be the worst screw-job in the big two. I still
remember a bigger screw-job though.
Back in the days around the time the Memphis USWA people
took over WCCW (World Class) they made Kerry Von Erich job
to Tarus Bulba. He lost to Bulba on a TV show with a clean claw hold
in the middle of the ring at the sportatorium. The building
was dead slient in shock. The equivilent in 1997 terms would
be for Bret Hart to lose to interrogator on one of the WWF weekend
shows cleanly in a sharpshooter. Bret's loss was to shawn, which
to me is less humilation than losing to a neo-jobber like Tarus Bulba.

I think we should give them a break (so to speak) on that one - Damage

OH COME ON...
I agree, SS sucked...Bret got fucked, and Vinnie
gave us all a lube job, minus the lube,.
BUT what about WCW?
How many times have we heard, "we're out of time"
How many times can Sting go up and down?
Their last PPV really sucked, but at least some of
the matches were good...
And Hogan...need I say more?
no, vince doesn't have the rights to a sucky PPV, they both
share that...
The only way we will get a PPV better then a Raw or Nitro
is to stop buying them..and then both will have to give us more,
or at least what we were told...
Thanks to my funky cable box, I don't have to buy either
companies shit...but if I didn't have that, no flocking way
would I buy the next PPV from either of them.
Monday night is always better...and free...

Yeah...after thinking about it that way I have to agree with you. It was
more damage control than a screw job.
