Well, anyone got any stories about them?? I've got a couple:

Bret Hart: Never personally met him, but my best friend tried. When
Brad (friend in question) was twelve years-old, he told me that he was by
himself outside the arena looking for autographs. He told me that as the
security guard opened the door for Bret to enter, He asked Bret for the
autograph. Bret said,"Yeah!! Right kid!" and then he walked on.
What a jerk. If Brad is telling the truth (I don't see why he
wouldn't) this sounds really mean.

Terry Taylor: Met him. Real nice guy. Actually seemed like he cared
about the fans.

Marty Jannety: Full of himself!! The whole time we were talking to
Marty, he was scoping out the teenage fluff like a true "Rocker" would.
He seemed pretty conceited to me.

Junk Yard Dog: He seemed really nice. Didn't have a lot of time to talk
to him. Like Taylor, he seemed like he really liked the fans.

Don Muraco: Didn't say much. Smiled a lot.

Sailor White: Now who remembers this guy?? Funny story about him. He
lives not far from me actually. One night, my friends and I went to this
party that this girl we didn't know was having. She had rented out a
house in order to have the party. In order to pay for the rent and
stuff, everyone had to pay $2 to get into the party. Guess who's working
the door as a doorman?? That's right!! Sailor White himself!! Guess
wrestlers don't have a retirement plan, eh?? We hounded old Sailor for
his autograph until he gave it to us. Ended up spending half the night
talking to him (the party sucked anyhow).

Those are all the wrestlers I've ever met. We don't get too many cards
where I live. It's all WWF when they do come here. The AWA came here
once, but the wrestlers ended up getting killed in a car crash so the
card was cancelled. Adrian Adonias was one of them.
POP QUIZ:

Where do I live??

I'll put a few of my stories down here:

Jake Roberts: he was walking into the Hard Rock Cafe at the Skydome
before WrestleMania VI. I quietly lowered my head to meet his point of
View (as he was looking at the ground) and said "Mr. Roberts, if could
please..." he opened the door and just went, but not before he gave me a
backwards glance.

Nikolai Volkov: Really nice guy. We walked around the outside of the
Skydome for about 10 minutes and talked. To get into it, he was walking
by and I (as I did with Jake) said "Mr. Volkov... you look lost do you
need a little help" (he really did look lost). He responded by saying he
missed his flight out of down south and did not arrive with the rest of
the wrestlers. He was looking for the Entrance to "Windows" (a restaurant
in the Dome) and I took him there. On the way we talked about what it was
like being a champion and all sorts of stuff. Really seemed to appreciate
a fan who remebered his old success.

Smash-RepoMan: He was Repo Man when I met him outside MLG. He stopped,
signed an autograph and "The Repo Man" and stole my pen. He then gave it
back, laughed a bit and said "enjoy the show, the real main event will be
my match he he" He was fighting a jobber.

That's all for now!
Thanks, John

The most memorable experience I ever had with a wrestler was when JYD
almost hit me in the parking lot of the Silver Nugget in Las Vegas (in
his car). He was leaving after an NWC card and almost ran me over! He
stopped to apologize and was really nice, if only for a few seconds.
Another really nice guy is Eddy Guerrero. I talked with him for a few
minutes in the parking lot after the Vegas Nitro/Clash at Caesar's. My
friend offered him a job in NWC...he declined :)

Ummmm...let me guess......NEWFOUNDLAND? :)

I've met two wrestlers in my lifetime.

The first one was after a Stampede card in Edmonton where I shook
Jason The Terrbile aka Karl "The Jackal" Moffat's hand and said hi and he
didn't say much. Couldn't see the expression on his face because of his
hockey mask and regualr mask. The second one was Chris Benoit who came
into my workplace. He was pretty cool to talk to. He says he likes
wrestling in Japan better than in the United States. Not as much
travelling in Japan as there is in the U.S. He had his <at the time 1
year old I am guessing> son with him. A pretty nice guy to talk to.

Lex Luger came across to me as a total airhead. He was trying really
hard to shoo away the fans around him and just ended up shoving them away
as he walked away..

I met Lex Lugar backstage at a WCW house show in Altoona PA a few years back,
before his tour in the WWF. He couldn't have been nicer. He talked about
why he got in the wrestling business, his plan to eventually go to the WWF,
his upcoming travel schedule, and the health club he owns in Atlanta. In
fact, he pretty much talked our ear off for fifteen minutes or so. I've
always been surprised at the rep Larry has with most fans because he was
quite civil to us.

I've met and talked to a few. Freddy Blassie was one of the nicer ones. I
was about 8 years old. He stayed in character, but was not mean (at least
no meaner than his character was supposed to be). At an indy show about 4
years ago, I met everyone on the card. As a general rule, the heels were
much nicer than the faces. Nikita Koloff was very disinterrested in
everything that was going on. He couldn't care less to be there. Ivan
Koloff was a totally different story. He was, IMO, the nicest man there.
We carried on a conversation for about 15 minutes. Some of the nicer ones
were Ivan, Mike Sharpe, and Dick Whirley (the referee). Jim Brunzell,
Nikita, and a few of the faces who never made it anywhere (I remember one
huge Indian (not Wahoo) who was the biggest ass of the night) but I don't
remember any of their names.

I met Jim Cornette 7 years ago when he was still managing the Midnight Express.
He smiled and shook my hand when I offered it. He was a real nice guy.

Could be that Nikita didn't want to break character, but also didn't
necessarily want to walk around, speaking in that hypnotic neanderthal growl
way his character used to do.

The Steiner Brothers are two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, One
night when security wouldnt let the wrestlers sign autographs, the
Steiners made it a point to stop and say goodbye to everybody on their way
out as they got into their car, truly class acts.

On an independent show a few years back I had the opportunity to chat
briefly with Colonel DeBeers -- kind of quiet, but was very receptive to
being approached and was very attentive.

he's a real card. He was wrestling Marty Janetty at a WWF House Show in
Scranton a few years back. We starting cheering for him when he'd do
something. The other 3000 people there wondered what the hell we were
doing, but Terry really played it up.

He'd hit a move and we'd stand and applaud... he'd take a bow.

He'd hit a move and immediately look are way for approval... we'd start to
bow with the "we're not worthy" thing. He was great!

Of course he lost, but he's the only wrestler who went to any extent to
recognize his fans... and I have been a Terry Taylor fan ever since...
regardless of how he's treated by the Big Two.

The only other sprinkle of recognition I got from a wrestler was Sid.
Back when he was getting ready to face Diesel in the IYH Lumberjack match,
He did an interview at a MNR taping in Danville, PA. When he was walking
back to the locker room I shouted , "Sid rules the World". He looked at
me and said, "There's a man who knows what he's talking about" and walked
away. That was pretty cool.

I met a bunch of them before an Indy Card a year or so ago in Lebanon,
PA.

The first thing I saw when I walked in was Captain Lou Albano sitting
there eating a huge submarine sandwich! He greeted us and I got an
autograph. He was so nice, and on his autograph he wrote something like
"Jesus Loves You" (or something to that effect; I can't quite make it
out.) Very nice man.

Luna Vachon was by far the nicest person there! Nothing like the
screaming bitch she plays, she had her picture taken with me and asked
me if I wanted her to be "naughty or nice." She was a wonderful woman!

Typhoon (Tugboat, Shockmaster?) was also pretty nice. I got his
autograph, we talked for a few minutes. I couldn't get two words out of
Yokozuna (at the time I wasn't sure if he spoke English, now I know he
was just ignoring me!)

Jim Neidhart was the biggest asshole. He was just sitting there at his
table waiting to sign autographs (curiously, no one was interested). I
got his autograph, and then asked if I could have my picture taken with
him. He said "Uh, mmmm, we're not doing that right now..." Then one of
those Samoan bodyguards waved me off. I proceeded to boo "The Anvil"
extra loudly in his match later in the night.
