Hey, their commercials rock! I am really thinking about buying that
electric bed! That thing is cool! Well, OK, perhaps I won't.

Yep, I have seen that, too. Just wondering, how old that show was. The
first rounds of the tournament were quite boring, from the semifinals on,
it was quite entertaining. I had never seenb Sasuke before, and based on
what I had heard about him, I expected more. Some nice Sentons and
Planchas to the outside, but nothing too great. But I still prefer AAA.
Have you seen the mini-trio match from some weeks ago, with Ultimo
Dragoncito leading the technicos? They had a great spot there, a triple
senton with all three guys landing in the crowd. (Must have been EMLL -
why the fuck don't they have any guardrails?) I really liked that.
bye, Paul.

I think you are right. The Nitro shown on Friday 19th July in Europe
(7pm GMT on TNT) was the one which was made the day after the PPV BatB.
This means it is 11 days after it is shown in the USA. Correct me if I
am wrong. I checked out the TNT teletext and they list all of the
matches from the USA 2 hour edition of Nitro. They are only able to show
some of the matches but it is hinted that this might change, so the full
2 hours could be shown, in the future.

I wouldn't mind that bed too - optional heat and massage...!! Only
joking.

Did you know that most, if not all, of the WCW programming is available
in Europe? Unfortunatly you will have to put up with German commentry
(unless you are German!) but you can see BatB for free on 27th July at,
I believe, 9.30pm GMT on DSF. I don't think that they cut anything and
the interviews are in English too. It's also repeated later in the
night. They also shown half hour shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Bullshit. The WWF told me personally that they have tried selling it to
Sky TV, except that Sky do not want to buy. Not the other way around...
Could you please confirm this, possibly with more information? I am just
about fed up with crappy IYH high lights on the four WWF programmes
which show the viewer pratically nothing compared to the full PPV.
I am going to complain to SKY about the whole IYH situation. Considering
that they have just increased by SKY monthly subscription by 2ukp and
will be adding a third main sports channel next month I see no reason
why they can't start buying the IYH PPV events. SKY subscribers managed
to get SKY to buy the full RAW programming so why not get them to buy
the IYH PPV's too?
I don't want high lights. I want the full IYH PPV live like all the
others. Without them the WWF programming is incomplete.
I am also annoyed that Sky continually censor the four WWF television
programmes. When ever something which could be classed as mildly
upsetting occurs, Sky either:
* Cut to a clip of the fans
* Cut to a clip of the whole arena from the back so we cannot see
anything
* Beep or blank over it
If they must censor the television programmes because they are on at
4pm, 5pm and 6pm (when the kids are still up). I think that they should
have two showings.
Put the uncensored programming on later (if possible, before the
censored programming). SKY didn't always censor the WWF though.
Finally I want all of the Free For All events which occur before all of
the PPV's.

People have been writting to SKY since IYH started and now they are saying they have no intention of
buying IYH as they already have enough wrestling on the network. Although with another sports
channel they may change this.

From August 23 RAW will be shown at 10.30pm with a repeat at 7.30 am. The 10.30 showing will be
uncensored, at least that is what SKY says. This is a direct action due to the number of complaints
about the editing. (perhaps we will get IYH if we keep on writing !)

Would you know if there have been a lot of complaints about this? If
there have been (i.e. a few hundred) I think SKY should re-consider
their stance on IYH. It really annoys me when I see Todd and Doc saying
'don't worry, you will see all the high lights next week on the WWF
television network.'

I assume you mean 10.30pm on Friday (instead of 5pm) and 7.30am on
Saturday. I'm glad that SKY subscribers got something out of SKY over
this. The last RAW was so censored it wasn't worth watching. I've
noticed that Sky have the policy of shifting RAW around so much when
they have a live sports event planned. This also really annoys me,
especially when I end up missing it.
Superstars was also censored last week. When Brian Pillman hit one of
the Bushwackers we got the crowd scene again. Perhaps a reorganisation
of the main TV programmes is required with two showings.
I intend to write and complain about the IYH situation. SKY wouldn't
treat football fans in the same way. I wouldn't expect to miss some key
football matches because there were too many football matches already on
SKY. The same goes for WWF. IYH is part of the story line. I really will
complain about this. Any idea who to write too about this?

SKY are now changing the time for RAW to 10pm on a Friday night and it will
be uncensored starting either this week or next.

There was a few hundred letters sent by readers of Power Slam. And as they addressed the complaint
in a reply to one of the satalite magazines I assume they have been getting a relativly large number
of complaints

know you can e-mail them directly from there !!

What about writing to TNT as well. I want the complete Nitro, and the WCW

Just because you're pronoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to help youĆ
>I'd like to know who to write to as well. If someone can tell me I'll write.
I've just visited the SKY WWW page and there is a form which allows you
to email SKY. I expect we will have to use that to get the most direct
response possible.
>What about writing to TNT as well. I want the complete Nitro, and the WCW
>ppvs. Don't you? Who can we write to at TNT?
Do you have Teletext on your television? There are some WCW pages on TNT
text and they explain that currently TNT does not have the capacity to
show the full Nitro. However it is implied that they will be looking to
extend Nitro in the future. Regarding the other WCW programmes, they are
only available on DSF. I would like TNT to start showing them too. I
would also like the WCW PPV's. DSF is three weeks behind the US and you
can't hear the English commentry. However I don't think that the UK
viewers are likely to get WCW until Turner creates some more channels
over in Europe. TNT only shows classic movies and Nitro at the moment. I
don't know if WBTV is related to Turner (it's coming to SKY soon).
See the TNT text for an address to write too.
McMahon confirmed that RAW will be at 10pm on Sky Sports 2 every Friday
from August 23rd. Perhaps this will be a more regular time slot.
