Yep, obviously so.

Actually, what Vince did is give WCW advertising. The more he mentions
Razor and Diesel, the more publicity he gives to what is going on in
WCW.
Carl
While he does have a point, Eric may have planned for this and may already
have something ready to go. We'll only find out.
WWF sent a letter to Scott Hall telling him to stop his "deliberate
infringement of Titan's intellectual property rights in connection with your
appearance this past Monday on the WCW's Nitro show." This may tell Hall to
stop, but Eric can always come up with something else.
Don't say the angle is dead unless WCW stops doing it.
Hey Chico, Scott Hall got that letter prior to tonite's Nitro, since Sullivan made reference to WCW
legal issues, but he still showed up. He doesn't seem real concerned.
Rich
I knew it would happen, just not this early in the angle. I think you're the idiot
here!

Just because I like Owen doesn't mean I'm an idiot, Owen is the funniest heel in
wrestling!

Dean Smith is god? Like I said, I think you're the idiot!

I wouldn't say that the angle backfired. Of course McMahon would say
something. But people that just watch Nitro and believe the WWF/WCW
angle wouldn't have heard that anyways. And it will just be kids that
believe that there really is a WWF/WCW set-up.
Wade
But, were the people that watch WCW watching RAW at the time? They
were watching Nitro, right? Many people only watch one federation.

dead? yeah right... all mcnugget did was give Nitro a free plug. I
wonder how many people switched channels right after he said it?
doesn't matter to me .. I tape both .. heh :-)

-> If I were Bichoff, I'd just change the story line then. It won't be that
-> hard, after all, Nitro is Live, unlike uncut, uncencored, Raw.
I know folks here dislike Bischoff, but give me a break. WCW had to see
this coming a mile away. The angle will now go off on a tangent and
Wince will look like a whiner.
I don't think so. *FROM A MARKS POINT OF VIEW:* They may not be working
on behalf of the WWF, but they DID just come from the WWF and they WERE
some of the WWFs top stars. Even if the WWF didn't TELL them to do it,
they're still trying to prove tge WWF's better on there own.
Exactly. Neither Bischoff nor Hall said that they were still working for
the WWF. Which, is why McMahon could only call it a "ruse." You can
represent or defend something and not be a part of it. Don't forget,
both Hall and Nash were slammed by Bischoff at different points in time.
THAT is what started this war, after all. "They've got a champion who
never made it past mid-card level here." All McMahon has served to do is
tell people to look for two of his more popular workers. Three, if you
count Dibiase.
