Who cares?
This is WRESTLING, not As The Stomach Turns, which by the way, mine DID after
reading that crap.
You are, as has been mentioned before, a valuable source for wrestling info,
but you keep doing stupid things...why?

On a related note, if Dino Bravo has signed with the WWF again as Herb
has reported a few weeks back, he will certainly need a change of
character and, probably, a turn. He has been massively overkilled as a heel.
Or maybe he'll just stay around as an overhyped jobebr who never gets
shown on TV.

On that WCW contract: RDS, our local sports network, has bought the rights
to Power Hour from TSN. The French show is three months behind (they were
still hyping Sid Viscous just a week ago!), is only 30 minutes long (with
an average of three matches a week and 18 minutes of crap) and the commentary
is AWFUL: the play-by-play man is the former broadcasting director for a
local brain-dead teen-age FM station who used to do the "event center"
interviews for the WWF a few years ago (and was so terrible that he actually
got fired quicker than Mad Dog Vachon), and the color commentator is a
local jobber who can't put together a three word sentence without tripping
over his tongue. Yeck!
This would be the perfect time for a new indie to form in Montreal, or for
WCW to make a move into the market (with a real TV show, please!). But
since the Quebec athletic commission is so hateful of pro wrestling, it will
never happen. Sigh...
Well, I said I would try to come up with another game in which the
players would be promotion bookers. That game is really shaping up now,
but before I release it, I would like to hear suggestions from net.land.
Until now, the elements that are included in teh system comprise the
mark magazines, the sheets, TV contracts, house shows, interfed alliances,
and the mainstream media.
Any other ideas? Don't worry, the game will be released in the public domain,
I am not trying to make a buck off your ideas!

There was nothing to buy.
RDS -- Riseau Des Sports (Network Of Sports)
TSN -- The Sports Network
Both have similar logos and share considerable amounts of camera work
(with different language commentary, sometimes overdubbed).
It's the same company, providing Canada's answer to ESPN in both
official languages.

Just curious. When the Rougeau brothers and Bravo are played as heels in
the rest of North America, what kind of reception do they get in The
Forum. Is the Mountie a face in Montreal?

The ROugeaus and Dino Bravo are heels in Montrel, just like
everywhere else. It took much longer to turn them here, though: during the
famous Forum match when he "sent Hogan to the hospital with a bear hug"
(and, unbelievably, made Hogan submit) that was hyped in the PWI magazines
for a few months, Bravo drew more cheers than Hogan, who was obviously POed.
