Will Disco Inferno be a good guy or bad?? And will his gimmick really
be disco?? Will he come down in Polyester and bell bottom??<G> If so
let me know when he debuts because this is the day I switch WCW off and
turned on the #1 and #2 wrestling fed in the world.... ECW/WWF!

Your not going to believe this.... but unless WCW screws it up (and that
is a distinct possibility), the Disco Inferno gimmick is a pretty good
one. Glen is a great guy, and has worked on this character for about two
years. It was the Idea of Steven DeTruth on N.Ga. wrestling, and has
worked out pretty well. I think you will get a kick out of it. Try it..
you might like it!

Actually, DI is a pretty good heel. He's not quite as obnoxious with
the dancing as Wright was, and DI can work, too. And he is hilarious if
they give him some mike time...

Glen Gilburnetty RULES!!! Or at least that's what my friend Lord
James Raggi says, and has said for months and months before I actually
got to see this guy. He was GREAT at the tryout match at the Center
Stage. According to James, he had a great angle run in North Georgia in
which, to prove he was the real deal, he and De Truth said they'd have
him beat Mil Mascaras on the next week's show, but when the time came, it
was some MINISCULE jobber in a Mil mask, and Gilburnetty/Disco Inferno
just destroyed him. It was supposed to have been classic, but who really
knows. Sounds funny, though. Later on.

Having known how this "gimmick" was born, I encourage all of you to give
this some time.
Imagine how many people already say DISCO SUCKS.
Now, they can take that heat out on a wrestler who can work.
And if anyone can pul it off, Glen Gilbernetti can.

That was a fantastic angle; I have it on tape. Gilbernetti and DeTruth were
both great. Scott Hudson kept saying it wasn't the real Mil Mascaras and
DeTruth kept insisting it was saying: "He's been on a frijole free diet."

If WCW gives Gilbernetti half a chance, he'll really get over. Of
course, we are talking about WCW here....
