He's not that big but he's got a big time case of juiceface. He's not bad
but he's nothing special. From what I've seen, I would rate Candido
higher.

Not me. He's a great heel, excellent on the mic and watchable in the ring.

pretty good...
His style was almost like HHH is now and how HBK was when he was a main event
heel... They talk as if wrestling is a real sport... I like that...

really coming into his own in ECW... and injuries and a bad jump to WCW
didn't help much. That's too bad, because I think pound for pound he
could have been one of the greats...

I wrote a comparison post called 'Steve Austin v. Shane Douglas' over at
Delphi, the main points were:
1. 'Screw me once shame on you, screw me twice shame on me'-Which mean that ok,
yeah maybe Flair did hold him down (and maybe not). But for him to get caught
in that same situation twice is inexcusable and maybe an indication that
Douglas is a shit-starter. And I used to love Douglas too, until about 1997
when he kept getting hurt.
2. True talent always makes it.
3. This point was not included, so I'll add it now. THE DEAN WAS NOT A BAD
GIMMICK! It was clever and fitted his personality perfectly and Shane was a
jackass if he thought that he was going to go over and be 'the Franchise' in
(then) family-friendly Titanland. No doubt in my mind, that if Shane didn't
take his ball and go home, that the Dean would've been over huge.
