From all reports that is a crock of shit. By all reports I mean the
normal sheets and hotlines. Actually Sting was suppose to be the back
up if Hogan wussed out at the last minute. The luger thing was to
confuse people to make them think it would be luger as the 3rd guy( you
know the old run in thing after being taken out) and it added to the
surprise and shock when it was Hogan. And the luger thing was a
complete work he is not really hurt.

STrong sources say STing would've been the third if Hogan had balked.
Even if it would've been Luger, it again would've been only if Hogan had
balked.

Unless I'm mistaken, the Outsiders did mention "the Huckster" during the G.A.B.
angle. Don't remember if it was Hall or Nash, but I do remember the name being
mentioned. Also, on one Nitro, Nash said, "Where's Hogan? Taping another
episode of 'Blunder in Paradise?'"

Actually, Hogan was the third man because Bischoff wanted him to be
so. So, to blame Hogan is stupid. Hogan did what he was asked to do,
and you criticize him for it.

Lugar got hurt as protection/ploy. Either protection in case Hogan
didn't agree and also to further the plot because what happened left
it open for Sting to be the third man.

From what I heard, if Hogan didn't agree, Luger was supposed to come back
out to the match all bandaged up. If this happened it was to let Sting
know that he(Sting) would be the third man.

So does this explain why Sting stopped bleaching his hair. To seperate
himself from the Sting personna in order to turn heel if need be?

that's because WCW didn't know what the hell they were going to do until
the last minute and would like you to believe this was all a grand scheme
all along....

Why would Luger be the third outsider?? He has spent most of his career
in WCW, except for a small time when he went to Vince's WBF, and then to
the WWF when that failed. He never came close to winning a title in the
WWF, and has won the WCW World, U.S. and tag team titles. How can they
consider him an outsider???

What?
I do remember seeing the three outsiders beating of Luger
and then Bubba. If you mean that the beating was not real because
wreslting isn't real, well that was assumed.

You cannot be serious?
Mr. Luger has way More talent, let's just see Hogan rack anyone over
300 lbs?

Let's see Savage do that.

Luger has been abused by the writers...

In fact I believe that Crush and Luger were forced to job just because
of their brute strength. If so when Crush gets out of jail, he should
sue WWF. :-) that _WAS_ a joke...

Though the big guys were pushed only to job it's sad...
Those pushes missed, ruined them...
I guess us two Luger fans can only say one thing...

I have heard on some sheets that Sting has let his dye job go because
of some movie and TV work he was trying to get. I honestly think that
people are making too much of it. Could be he got tired of the damn
peroxide.
