Hogan was the third man. Big f'n deal. He still sucks. And no one here in
RSPW predicted it. Everyone was saying
Luger,Jarrett,DiBiase,Mabel,.......Hakushi. No one was really saying
Hogan. So get over yourself.

In article <4rqtcj$d...@newsbf02.news.aol.com>, oddma...@aol.com says...

Sorry Pal....I'v been saying Hogan from day 1.

You should of heard the marks behind me, yelling at Hogan to "Fuck-off man,
I loved you for 15 years...". It was great.

Till later

I'll also add that it was said here on RSPW. Although everyone was in
shock over the Mongo heel-turn a few weeks aog, at least this was
predicted to an extent.

I re-checked all of the 3rd man posts just to make sure I was right.(After
the fact, I know.) What i saw was about 2 posts predicting Hogan, about
one billion predicting various other wrestlers, and a handful saying
things like "Hogan would be nice....but it won't happen."

Wishes don't count people. I apologize to the two people or so who really
did predict Hogan, but the rest of you are still kidding yourselves.

Clearly, you didn't read the posts before you chose to make that silly
statement because MANY people suggested that it may be Hogan. Being
true (and SMART) wrestling fans, we were all just suggesting that it
could be many people. Hogan was number one on many people's lists
INCLUDING MINE! Check the post, 7/1/96 5:08 p.m.:

"I'm almost positive that Hogan is the 3rd heel. He is constantly
booed. I mean, it's one thing when you hear mixed cheers and boos, but I
really can hear everyone (as well as see middle fingers to the face.)
It's a large part of the reason why I think he's been gone forever."

Not to toot my own horn, though. Anyway, maybe you should spend less
time worrying about people's predictions and more time enjoying this
angle. It's going to be great to see how this plays out through the
rest of the year.

The fact that some people mentioned Hogan as the third heel means
nothing. Just about everyone in all of wrestling was mentioned as the
third guy. The only guy who wasn't mentioned as the third person was
Lawrence Taylor -- or did I miss something?

No such thing as a "smart" wrestling fan.

> Actually, LT was mentioned if I recall, which just further proves your
point. Hey, I even mentioned Bruno Sammartino, even though it was quite
jokingly.
