What A Triple Threat. Ric Flair, Becky Lynch And Taylor Swift Walk Into A
Twitter Debate.

Posted: 24 Aug 2019 08:34 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/triple-threat-ric-flair-becky-lynch-taylor-swift-walk-twitter-debate/

One of those trios you just don’t expect. Earlier this year, Becky Lynch
became arguably the biggest women’s star in WWE history as she won the
first ever all women’s main event of WrestleMania. That alone is enough to
maker her a star for the rest of her career, but The Man character is still
popular enough to keep her star on the rise. Now someone is challenging
her status.

On Friday, Lynch made a post on Twitter addressing Taylor Swift’s new song
The Man. Lynch mentioned that a woman can be the Man and that applies to
her. The next day though, Ric Flair made a post of his own, saying that to
be the Man, you have to beat the Man, and no one has beaten him yet. Swift
has not acknowledged either Lynch or Flair and likely has no idea any of
this is taking place.

A woman can be The Man. I am that woman. #IamTheMan https://t.co/ZpcbsQIAfJ

- The Man (@BeckyLynchWWE) August 23, 2019

I Hate To Break It To You Both @BeckyLynchWWE And @taylorswift13, But I’m
THE MAN!!! And To Be THE MAN, You Gotta Beat THE MAN! WOOOOO! #theman

- Ric Flair® (@RicFlairNatrBoy) August 24, 2019

Lynch has a history with the Flair family. Check out one of her many
brawls with Charlotte Flair:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: This is one of those things that is going to happen every now and
then and doesn’t hurt anyone involved. Lynch and Flair get to interact a
bit and might get some fans talking while more people hear that Swift has a
new song and album out. No one is hurt in any way and the fans get to have
some fun out of the whole thing. Maybe WWE can even reference it on
television somehow and get a mention from Swift out of the whole thing.

Who is the Man in WWE? Who will take the title from Lynch? Let us know in
the comments below.

Thats One Way Of Looking At It. Steve Austin Reacts To Fan On Death Of
Kayfabe.

Posted: 24 Aug 2019 08:27 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/thats-one-way-looking-steve-austin-death-kayfabe/

He’s kind of an authority in the sport. There are very few stars in
wrestling on Steve Austin’s level. He reached a point in wrestling that no
one had ever reached before and no one likely will again. Austin is likely
the person a lot of people think of when they think of a wrestler and as a
result, his take on things still means something. That will be the case
again as Austin has said something interesting.

On Saturday, Austin posted a video of the Rock taking a Stunner and offered
a lot of praise for the Rock’s selling. A fan responded to the Tweet,
saying that he did not like the way Austin used the word selling as it
emphasizing that kayfabe is dead. Austin responded later in the day,
saying that it was 2020 and people realize what is going on. Austin most
recently appeared in person on Monday Night Raw at Raw Reunion.

And the Academy for best selling of a Stunner goes to @TheRock.

- Steve Austin (@steveaustinBSR) August 24, 2019

Love SCSA but hate this tweet.

"Academy", "selling" ugh.

Yes, I realize kayfabe is dead but cant you just say its a devastating move
and thats why it fucked Rock all up? https://t.co/7B2pI9akdj

- Michael No Music ? (@Slymmcredible) August 24, 2019

Wake up bruh. It’s almost 2020. People kinda know what’s up.

- Steve Austin (@steveaustinBSR) August 24, 2019

Austin and Rock have gone at it before. Check out one of their forgotten
classics:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: I’m of two minds on this. First of all, Austin is absolutely
right in that everyone (at least adults) know what is going on. That
hasn’t been a secret for a long time. At the same time though, it feels a
bit wrong to see wrestlers who used to defend kayfabe so strongly
acknowledge that it is dead. It’s far different for a retired wrestler,
but it still doesn’t sound right.

What do you think of kayfabe still being protected? How protected can it
be today? Let us know in the comments below.

Welcome To The (Actual) Jungle. Finn Balor Gets Married. Maybe. Its
Possible. Were Not Sure.

Posted: 24 Aug 2019 07:18 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/welcome-actual-jungle-finn-balor-gets-married-maybe-possible-not-sure/

Welcome to Balor Club. Wrestling is built on stars and that means a lot of
fans get behind several of them. Fans pick out some of their favorite
stars and get attached to them, occasionally to the point of knowing a lot
of things about their lives outside of the ring. Occasionally this
includes their relationship status, and one wrestler’s changed in a big way
over the weekend.

Finn Balor posted a photo to his Instagram, showing what appears to be
himself and a woman standing together in a wedding ceremony. Balor’s
girlfriend, FOX Sports Mexico reporter Vero Rodriguez, posted a similar
photo to her Instagram, albeit with no one visible in the shot. It should
be noted that neither has confirmed the marriage, though it seems to be the
case.

Balor only confirmed the relationship earlier this year. Check out the
initial announcement:

Opinion: Good for them. This is the kind of surprise that came out of
absolutely nowhere but sort of fits with Balor. He tends to keep his
private life somewhat private until a few random moments like this come
up. Hopefully everything works out well for them as a
wrestling/non-wrestling relationship is difficult to make work, but maybe
they can pull it off together.

What do you think of Balor? Will he ever be World Champion again? Let us
know in the comments below.

(FUNNY VIDEO): Theyre At It Again. WWE 24/7 Title Shenanigans Go To Some
Unique Places.

Posted: 24 Aug 2019 07:15 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/funny-video-theyre-wwe-24-7-title-shenanigans-go-unique-places/

Call it excessive cross promotion. In about six weeks, SmackDown Live is
moving over to FOX in a pretty big change of pace for WWE. With the move,
WWE becomes part of the massive FOX Sports family and that means that there
will be some mentions of WWE in the bigger sports world. In some cases,
WWE will be right there with them and that was the case over the weekend.

WWE has posted a pair of videos to its YouTube page, showing a pair of 24/7
Title changes during FOX events. On Saturday at the FOX Sports Founders
Day celebration, Drake Maverick distracted Elias so that R-Truth could roll
him up to win the title. Later in the day, R-Truth appeared on FOX College
Football and was jumped by analyst Rob Stone, who became champion. Elias
appeared behind Stone and rolled him up to get the title back.

It’s all over the world now. Check out the multiple title changes in one
day:
[This post contains video, click to play]

[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: This might not be for everyone but taking the idea out of the
arenas is what makes it more fun. This isn’t eh kind of thing that is
supposed to be taken seriously as R-Truth has now won the title thirteen
times in just a few months. The joke is still charming enough and the
three title changes took about five minutes combined. Yeah it’s goofy, but
it’s a fun goofy and that’s ok.

Do you still like the 24/7 Title shenanigans? Who should be added to the
mix? Let us know in the comments below.

How Bad Is It? Update On Fenix After Injury Scare On Friday Night.

Posted: 24 Aug 2019 05:50 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/bad-update-fenix-injury-scare-friday-night/

Two in a row? We’re coming up on All Out in about a week and that means
it’s all hands on deck for AEW. This is going to be their last chance to
get eyes on their product before their weekly television debut on October
2. With that big of a show, the company is going to want to have
everything they can going for them, though they might be missing another
name thanks to an injury.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Fenix suffered a leg injury
at a Big Time Wrestling event on Friday night. Fenix went down during a
tag match and was helped to the back, leaving Pentagon to finish the match
on his own. The promotion has posted an update on its Facebook page,
saying that the leg is not broken and Fenix will be wrestling Saturday
night as scheduled. There is no word on Fenix’s status for All Out, where
Fenix and Pentagon are set to face the Young Bucks in a ladder match,
though wrestling Saturday would suggest that he will be ready for All Out.
The injury came on the same day as Jon Moxley was forced out of the show
with an elbow injury.

It’s one of the biggest matches on the card. Check out the Lucha Bros
challenging the Young Bucks:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: That’s quite the scary sounding moment but if Fenix is able to
wrestle the night night, the injury doesn’t seem to be all that bad. As
long as Fenix doesn’t injure himself worse during the match, everything
should be fine for All Out. that’s going to be one of the biggest matches
of his career and it would be a shame if he has to sit it out. It sounds
ok, but we’ll know for sure in a week.

If Fenix can’t wrestle, who should replace him at All Out? Who will win
the ladder match? Let us know in the comments below.

Main Event Results - August 22, 2019

Posted: 24 Aug 2019 04:52 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/main-event-results-august-22-2019/

Main Event

Date: August 22, 2019

Location: XCEL Energy Center, St. Paul, Minnesota

Commentators: Renee Young, Byron Saxton

Things are starting to get interesting in WWE again as the King of the Ring
Tournament kicked off this week, plus we move closer to finding out who
attacked Roman Reigns. The World Title pictures are both getting into some
interesting territory as well. Now let’s see how Main Event messes it up.
Let’s get to it.

Opening sequence.
Dana Brooke vs. Sarah Logan

Counting this show, these two have fought on six of the last ten Main
Events (and they were in a tag match two weeks before that). Feeling out
process to start until. Brooke sends her into the corner for the handspring
elbow and the cartwheel splash gets two.

Logan is right back with some rolling suplexes for two and goes nuts with
right hands near the corner. That’s not cool with Brooke, who is right back
with her own forearms in the corner and on the mat. She shouts about hating
Logan, which you almost have to after facing her so many times in a row.
The Swanton hits knees but Brooke small packages her for the pin at 4:25.

Result: Dana Brooke b. Sarah Logan Small package (4:25)

From Smackdown.
King of the Ring First Round: Elias vs. Kevin Owens

Non-title. Elias’ music now has his catchphrase at the start and sounds
like him singing. Owens doesn’t waste time in clotheslining him out to the
floor but Elias walks away before the big flip dive. A whip sends Owens
into the barricade but he’s right back with the Cannonball for two. Cue
Shane to watch from ringside as we take a break. Back with Elias holding a
chinlock and throwing in a rake to the eyes for a bonus. Owens fights up
and gets caught with a jumping knee to the face for two.

The chinlock goes on again but Owens gets out even faster this time,
setting up a DDT. A middle rope dropkick sets up the backsplash for a quick
two. The pop up powerbomb is broken up and Elias hits an electric chair
into a sitout powerbomb. Elias can’t hit a superplex as Owens knocks him
down but the Swanton hits knees. Owens is right back to knock Elias outside
for a flip dive off the apronand it’s Shane pulling off his shirt to reveal
a referee shirt. Shane slides in as Owens’ Stunner is blocked, allowing
Elias to grab a rollup with Shane counting a very fast pin at 13:12.

Result: Elias b. Kevin Owens Rollup with a fast count (13:12)

The fix was in:

[This post contains video, click to play]
Long recap of Roman Reigns being attacked, along with the involvement of
Buddy Murphy, Rowan and Daniel Bryan.

From Smackdown again.

Reigns comes in to see Bryan and Rowan to find out who is under the hood.
The hood comes off and it’s….someone who looks like Rowan plus twenty
years. Nothing is said to end the show.

I didnt see this coming:

[This post contains video, click to play]
Video on Sasha Banks returning last week.

From Raw.

Natalya has just seen the WWE doctor again but needs to rant about Sasha
for interrupting her last week. Cue Banks to jump Natalya again and send
her into an anvil case. Banks: “Go to h*** Nattie. And tell your daddy I
say hi.”

This is getting personal:
[This post contains video, click to play]
Lucha House Party vs. Eric Young/Robert Roode

Mexico vs. Team Canada with Kalisto as the odd man out. Commentary mentions
the history between Roode and Young as Dorado’s flying mare takes Young
into the corner. A headscissors sends the Canadians into each other and we
take a break. Back with Young punching Dorado in the face for two and Roode
breaks up the tag to keep Dorado in the corner.

The chinlock doesn’t last long as Young lets go to knock Metalik off the
apron. The hot tag goes through a few seconds later and Metalik comes in
with a middle rope dropkick for two on Roode. Metalik’s rope walk elbow is
nearly botched as he almost loses his balance but Roode is there to shake
the ropes and bring him down. The Glorious DDT finishes Metalik at 8:38.

Result: Eric Young/Robert Roode b. Lucha House Party Glorious DDT to
Metalik (8:38)

We look at Randy Orton and the Revival injuring Xavier Woods’ leg on Raw.

From Smackdown.

Here’s Randy Orton to open things up. After a clip from last night’s attack
on the New Day, Orton talks about Kofi cheating to get out of a fight with
him at Summerslam. But Kofi isn’t done yet because Kofi is stupid. Last
night was fun but here’s New Day’s music, with Kofi sneaking in from behind
with Trouble in Paradise to drop Orton. Kofi grabs a chair and wraps it
around Orton’s ankle but here’s the Revival for the save. That’s fine with
Kofi, who cleans house with the chair as the villains run.

The champ fights for his friends:

[This post contains video, click to play]
From Raw.
Tag Team Titles: Seth Rollins/Braun Strowman vs. OC

The OC is defending and has AJ with them. Strowman runs Gallows over to
start and it’s off to the taped up Rollins to work on Gallows’ arm.
Anderson comes in but a quick tag brings Gallows back in, meaning Rollins
has to knee him to the floor. A running kick to the head puts Anderson
outside as well but the numbers catch up with him.

That means Gallows gets to drop Rollins ribs first into the barricade a few
times and we take an early break. Back with Anderson hitting a spinebuster
on Rollins, but Anderson gets knocked off the top. That means the
Blockbuster, but Rollins bangs up the ribs again. With the hot tag near,
Gallows is smart enough to post Strowman and cut him off. Gallows comes
back in as everything breaks down, with Rollins getting to clean house
again.

A low bridge puts Gallows on the floor, leaving Anderson to take the Falcon
Arrow for two. The numbers catch up with Rollins again as AJ crotches him
on top but it’s Strowman back up to run over AJ and Gallows. Back in and
Rollins rolls over for the hot tag to Strowman and it’s time to wreck
things. Rollins cuts Styles off with the Stomp and Strowman hits the
running powerslam on Anderson for the pin and the titles at 12:04.

Result: Seth Rollins/Braun Strowman b. OC Running powerslam to Anderson
(12:04)

I didnt see this one coming:

Ring Of Honor TV Results - August 21, 2019

Posted: 24 Aug 2019 03:43 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/ring-honor-tv-august-21-2019/

Ring of Honor

Date: August 21, 2019

Location: Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City, New York

Commentators: Ian Riccaboni, Colt Cabana

Hosts: Ian Riccaboni, Quinn McCay

We’re on the way to….I have no idea actually but the new format should let
us know what is coming up. I still like this one a lot better and the match
quality has been very good so far. Let the show serve as a showcase for the
talent, but this time around it’s about the Shinobi Shadow Squad so I’m not
too thrilled. Let’s get to it.

The opening video looks at last week’s eight man tag.

Kelly Klein says all Karissa Rivera had to do was ask for a title shot,
which is exactly what she did.

Clip of Rush beating TK O’Ryan at Manhattan Mayhem.

We get a blink and you’ll miss it look at the Top Prospect Tournament
brackets.

Video on Silas Young wanting to bring Josh Woods to the dark side and Woods
considering it.

Clip of Young beating PJ Black pretty clean at Mass Hysteria.

Later that night, Woods brought Young some cigarettes, took one, and left.
Women’s Title: Kelly Klein vs. Karissa Rivera

Rivera is challenging. They go to the mat to start with Klein getting the
better of it as Cabana tries to talk about Rivera’s family history in
wrestling. A layout DDT stuns Rivera and a whip into the corner takes us to
a break. Back with Klein working on the back even more as Cabana is ripping
into Rivera for having no offense. Some hard shots in the corner keep
Rivera rocked but the fall away slam is countered into a bicycle kick.
Rivera hits a spinebuster, only to walk into K Power to give Klein the pin
at 9:31.

Result: Kelly Klein b. Karissa Rivera K Power (9:31)

Post match Sumie Sakai comes out to help Rivera up. Klein praises Rivera,
calls Sakai legendary, and tells Rivera that she can come get another title
shot later. Cue the Allure (minus Mandy Leon) to complain about how it
should be Angelina Love getting the title. Maybe Matt Taven was right when
he talked about a conspiracy, but the conspiracy is against the Allure.
Klein calls them b****** and that’s it.

Post break Klein says she, Sakai and Rivera are going to show Allure what
Women of Honor is all about.

We look at a Defy Or Deny match from early June, with Matt Taven pinning
Flip Gordon to prevent Gordon from ever getting another title shot. They’ll
do it again in a few weeks, because you want to see more Matt Taven!
Six Man Tag Team Titles: Villain Enterprises vs. Shinobi Shadow Squad

The Squad is challenging and jump PCO to start, earning themselves a
backdrop to the floor. That leaves Isom to face PCO on his own, with the
monster turning his back so Isom can have some free shots. Isom gets
powerslammed for two with the rest of the Squad making the save as we take
a break. Back with PCO being backdropped onto his partners, followed by
Isom springboarding onto everyone.

PCO kicks out of all three at once and Cheeseburger’s palm strike has no
effect. The chokeslam plants Cheeseburger, leaving King to crush them in
the corner. The sunset flip/release German suplex combination sends Isom
flying and Scurll kicks Nova’s leg out. A powerbomb gives Scurll two and
King is back in with the swinging sitout Boss Man Slam to drop Isom. The
Backstabber/running backsplash combination to Nova retains the title at
9:44.

Result: Villain Enterprises b. Shinobi Shadow Squad Backstabber/backsplash
combination to Nova (9:44)

205 Live Results - August 20, 2019

Posted: 24 Aug 2019 02:06 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/205-live-results-august-20-2019/

205 Live

Date: August 20, 2019

Location: Denny Sanford Premier Center, Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Commentators: Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness, Aiden English

This is a special show as the whole evening is dedicated to one match. In
this case that would be a ten man elimination tag, which has been built up
all week on WWE.com. That’s a good thing though as the general lack of
effort being put into the show doesn’t do it any favors, so having
something like this is a good idea for a change. Let’s get to it.

Captain Drew Gulak goes over his picks and talks about how he isn’t worried
tonight.

Captain Oney Lorcan doesn’t have any of his partners’ attributes but he
knows how to fight. Gulak’s days as champion are numbered.

Opening sequence.
Team Gulak vs. Team Lorcan

Drew Gulak, Ariya Daivari, Tony Nese, Mike Kanellis, Angel Garza

Oney Lorcan, Isaiah Scott, Jack Gallagher, Akira Tozawa, Humberto Carrillo

Garza and Carrillo are cousins. It’s a big staredown to start with Gulak
sending his teammates into the others for a fight with the ring being
cleared early on. Gallagher brings in matching umbrellas for four stereo
Mary Poppins Drops. We finally settle down for the opening bell with Gulak
having to escape Lorcan’s half and half suplex attempt. Scott comes in to
work on Gulak’s arm but it’s quickly off to Garza (Nigel: “The most
beautiful man in the world!”) to face Carrillo with the latter flipping
around to take over.

Hang on though as it’s time for GARZA TO TAKE OFF HIS PANTS! Garza suckers
him in with a handshake and it’s time to stomp away in the villainous
corner. Gulak and Kanellis take turns stomping on Carrillo with Gulak
slapping on a chinlock which doesn’t last too long. Carrillo is back up and
brings in Tozawa to start cleaning house. After a flip dive from the apron
puts Gulak down, Tozawa puts Kanellis in the Iron Octopus. Kanellis slips
out though and sends Tozawa into Gallagher, setting up the spinning
neckbreaker to get rid of Tozawa at 6:09. Gallagher is in immediately with
the headbutt to get rid of Kanellis at 6:25.

Gallagher and Nese grapple on the mat for a bit until Gallagher starts
hammering away in the corner. Daivari pulls Gallagher down by the arm
though, sending Nese into a bit of a rant about how he doesn’t need the
help. Gallagher puts Nese on the floor but Daivari’s low bridge breaks up a
suicide dive (and nearly breaks an umbrella). The crash lets Nese hit the
sunset driver to get rid of Gallagher at 8:39.

Scott comes in for an anklescissors on Nese and an Austin Aries middle rope
elbow to Nese’s seated back. A cartwheel splash of all things gets two but
Nese pulls him over to the corner for the tag off to Garza. The camel
clutch goes on and we cut to the back where Tozawa and Gallagher are
arguing with Brian Kendrick saying he didn’t do anything last week.
Kendrick and Gallagher will fight next week.

Back to full screen with Nese holding Scott in a bodyscissors as they’re
finding a smart way to set up next week while having one match. Scott is
back up and backdrops Nese to the floor but Garza pulls the ring skirt and
sends him into the steps. They have a lot of time here so it makes sense to
keep Scott in trouble for a long time.

It’s back to Gulak for more arm cranking, followed by Garza’s abdominal
stretch. You would think villains would get the hint at some point but,
again, Scott escapes and hits a superkick. Nese comes in and sends him hard
into the corner….right next to Lorcan. The running knee hits Scott in the
corner but the legal Lorcan comes in for a failed half and half attempt.
Nese and Lorcan chop it out as they are known to do but Lorcan slips out of
the sunset driver. The half and half suplex finishes Nese at 18:30 and
we’re tied at three each (Lorcan/Carrillo/Scott vs. Gulak/Daivari/Garza).

Lorcan wants Gulak but gets Garza instead, meaning it’s back to Carrillo
(Nigel: “The lesser Garza.”) instead. Carrillo kicks him down and hits a
fast standing moonsault for two and it’s already back to Scott for stereo
basement superkicks (Nigel: “NO! NO! NOT TO THE FACE!!!”). Scott’s running
jump kick to the back of the head rocks Garza and it’s the Alberto double
stomp to Daivari in the corner. Scott’s top rope stomp gets two on Garza
with Gulak diving in for a save. Scott and Gulak take turns pulling on each
other’s hair with Scott going throat first onto the top rope. The Cyclone
Crash eliminates Scott at 21:59.

The remaining five stare each other down but Daivari throws Garza at
Carrillo to get is down to one on one. Carrillo gets cheap shotted into the
corner and it’s Daivari grabbing a neckbreaker for two. The chinlock goes
on and we go split screen to hear the Lucha House Party talk about pudding
and Kalisto facing Daivari next week. Back to full screen and Daivari
blasts Carrillo with a clothesline for two. Gulak’s chinlock is broken up
with an armdrag and it’s a pair of stereo crossbodies with Garza for a
double knockdown.

The hot tag finally brings in Lorcan (though it’s not “well over thirty
minutes into the match” as Vic said) for a double running Blockbuster on
Daivari and Garza, followed by the running flip dive to take out Gulak.
Everyone winds up on the floor and Gulak chairs Lorcan in the ribs for the
DQ at 29:23.

Gulak gets in another shot to Lorcan’s back against the post and then does
it again in the ring. As Gulak poses in the ring, we go split screen for an
NXT commercial. Back with Garza crotching Carrillo on top for two and not
being able to believe the kickout. Carrillo and Garza slug it out from
their knees until Carrillo gets up for the springboard spinning headbutt.

Lorcan is fine enough to come back in and chop away at Daivari and hit the
running elbows in the corner. One too many charges lets Daivari get up a
superkick but the top rope splash misses. The hammerlock lariat is
countered into a rollup to get rid of Daivari at 32:59, leaving us with
Lorcan/Carrillo vs. Garza. Carrillo is back in with a springboard spinning
kick to the face for two on Garza. Things slow down for another slugout
until Garza dropkicks him out of the air for his own two. A basement
dropkick gets two more on Carrillo but Garza misses his moonsault. The
Aztec Press finishes Garza for the final pin at 37:05.

Result: Team Lorcan b. Team Gulak Aztec Press to Garza (37:05)

That was borderline epic:

That cant be good. Ronda Rousey was one of the biggest names in the world
of Professional Wrestling for most of 2018. Coming from the world of UFC,
she took WWE by storm and quickly rose to the top of the Womens Division.

However, The Baddest Woman on the Planet isnt invincible.

Rousey posted a picture on her Instagram page recently, sharing the news
that she almost lost a finger while shooting an episode of the television
show 9-1-1. You can see the post below:

So the word is out I nearly lost my finger shooting @911onfox. Freak
accident, first take of the day a boat door fell on my hand, I thought I
just jammed my fingers so I finished the take before looking (I know it
sounds crazy, but I’m used to live audiences and never showing pain unless
I’m supposed to) after a break in the action I told our director the
situation and was rushed via ambulance to the hospital where they promptly
reattached my bone and tendon with a plate and screws. I returned to
filming the next day and finished my scenes before returning home to
recover. Modern medicine amazes me, I already had 50% range of motion back
in 3 days. There’s so much more than I can write here, stayed tuned via
@rondarouseydotcom for the full story. And of course tune in to see how
well I can act like my finger didn’t just fall off in this upcoming season

According to her post, on the first take of the day, a boat door fell on
her hand. After a break in the action, she told the director about the
situation and was rushed via ambulance to the hospital. The medical staff
promptly reattached her bone and tendon with a plate and screws.

She went on to say that she had 50% range of motion back in 3 days.

We will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as they become
available to us.

You can hear her story on her own words:

Editors Opinion:

Man, that sucks. I always knew that she was tough, but this could not have
possibly been anything less than excruciatingly painful. I hope that she
recovers from this quickly and we see her back in action really soon!
