Cain Velasquezs Opponent, Lucha Bros vs LAX & More Announced for AAA
Invading NY

AAA has officially announced the top matches for next weekends Invading NY
event at Madison Square Gardens Hulu Theater.

The show will be broadcast live on FITE TV and as noted by the Wrestling
Observer Newsletter, Impact Wrestling will be a part of the branding in
exchange for AAA using their license to promote in New York.

As of now it will be a 7-match card with the legends Blue Demon Jr. and Dr.
Wagner Jr. facing off in a main event rematch from their heavily praised
Triplemania bout.

Second from the top will be the second in-ring performance of UFC legend
Cain Velasquez, who will team with Impact World Champion Brian Cage and
Psycho Clown to take on the trio of Black Taurus, Scorpion King and Texano
Jr.

Also confirmed is Tessa Blanchard defending the AAA Reina de Reinas
Championship against the reigning (and longest reigning ever) Impact
Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie.

This is an interesting one, not because we havent seen it before, but
because of the impending political ties. The Lucha Brothers will defend the
AAA World Tag Team Championships against Santana and Ortiz (promoted as
LAX) in what could be the last time we see that match for a long time
outside of an AEW ring.

The opening three matches will be announced at a later date.

Next weeks highly anticipated episode of Monday Night Raw, live from the
worlds most famous arena, Madison Square Garden, just got even more stacked.

In addition to WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin returning to
moderate over the official Clash of Champions contract signing between
Universal Champion Seth Rollins and challenger Braun Strowman, the show
will see all four members of the Four Horsewomen in action!

Just announced, Raw Womens Champion Becky Lynch will team with arguably her
biggest rival in Charlotte Flair, as the unlikely allies will have to take
on Smackdown Womens Champion Bayley and her bestie Sasha Banks.

Also announced for the show is WWE U.S. Champion AJ Styles facing off
against Cedric Alexander in a non-title match, as well as something of a
Cruiserweight dream match between lucha legend Rey Mysterio and the king of
the ropes, Gran Metalik.

All of this goes down live next Monday night on the USA Network at 8/7c.
