You Mean Theres More? Another WWE Show Could Be Moving To FOX Sports 1
Soon.

You have to expand somehow. Earlier this summer, it was announced that NXT
would be moving to the USA Network to become the third major WWE show
airing on television. This comes just before SmackDown Live moves over to
FOX on Friday nights to become the biggest show in wrestling today. As it
turns out though, there might be a little more to Friday nights than just
that.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, there is a chance that 205 Live
could be moved to Fox Sports 1 to create a three hour block every Friday
night. At the moment, nothing has been announced and there is no guarantee
that the show will be moved. WWE has been rumored to want to cancel the
show for several months now as the show has been viewed as a failure by the
company. WWE currently airs 205 Live on the WWE Network after SmackDown
Live.

If you haven’t been watching 205 Live, you’ve been missing some great
stuff. Check out this huge match from a few weeks back:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: I’m not sure how well this is going to work. Unless 205 Live
undergoes some sort of change, the attendance isn’t going to get any better
and that isn’t going to work well for FOX. Yeah it’s an extra hour of
television, but I don’t think the network will want to air a show with so
many visible empty seats. It isn’t a good look for either side and without
a change, I don’t see it going well.

Do you like the idea of the move? Will WWE go through with it? Let us
know in the comments below.

Id Watch It. A Surprising WWE Superstar Wants To Get Rid Of Undertaker.

https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/id-watch-surprising-wwe-superstar-wants-get-rid-undertaker/

What an interesting pairing. There are very few wrestlers in WWE history
who have the level of respect that the Undertaker has reached. He has been
around for the better part of thirty years and is still around every so
often. It seems that he has been ready to retire for years now but he just
keeps going. As it turns out, a current wrestler thinks that Undertaker
should be gone and might be trying to do something about it.

On Saturday, Undertaker appeared as a special guest on ESPN’s College
Gameday. A clip of the moment was posted on Twitter, with fellow WWE
Superstar Sami Zayn responding with a message saying that he should do
Undertaker a favor and take him out for good. There si no word on a
potential match between the two of them, though Undertaker is scheduled to
appear at this week’s SmackDown Live from Madison Square Garden.

Undertaker is still quite intimidating. Check out his College Gameday
appearance:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: Given that Zayn is currently working with Shinsuke Nakamura, I
can’t imagine this going anywhere on SmackDown Live. That being said, I do
rather like the idea of Zayn vs. Undertaker (or Undertaker vs. Nakamura for
that matter). Both would be something fresh and that is a concept that WWE
could certainly use. Then again so is someone young beating Undertaker,
though I can’t imagine that taking place.

Do you think this will lead anywhere? Do you want it to? Let us know in
the comments below.

The Old Ways? What Does NXT Moving To USA Mean For Call Ups To The Main
Roster?

Posted: 08 Sep 2019 10:08 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/old-ways-nxt-moving-usa-mean-call-ups-main-roster/

The more things stay the same. We are less than two weeks away from NXT
moving over to the USA Network, meaning the show will be on the same level
as the two major weekly WWE shows. This changes the status quo for the
company’s television product and things will be different moving forward.
Or at least they should, though it isn’t clear if that will be the case.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the same system of callups
to the main two shows will continue as it has been for years now. Monday
Night Raw and SmackDown Live will still be seen as the main shows, with NXT
viewed as the minor league brand. There is no word on who could be called
up, or if someone being sent to NXT would be seen as a demotion.

These callups happened all at once. Check out four big names showing up at
the same time on Monday Night Raw earlier this year:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: This is something that makes sense from WWE’s point of view but
not so much from the fans’ point of view. If NXT is airing for two hours a
week in the same time slot that SmackDown Live is currently airing in, it
is going to be viewed as a major show. Yes it is still the designated
minor league show, but how much of that designation goes away when it moves
to USA?

Does this designation still make sense? Who are you expecting to move up
to the main roster? Let us know in the comments below.

Gauntlet Thrown. Becky Lynch Challenges Stephanie McMahon To A Match,
McMahon Answers.

Posted: 08 Sep 2019 10:05 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/gauntlet-thrown-becky-lynch-challenges-stephanie-mcmahon-match-mcmahon-answers/

There aren’t many challengers left for her. Over the last year or so,
Becky Lynch has become one of the biggest stars in WWE and one of the
biggest female stars the company has ever had. While that is quite the
accomplishment, it becomes a bit of a problem as she doesn’t exactly have
many people to face. That might change though as she is going after one of
the few females bigger than her.

On Saturday, Lynch sent a Tweet to Stephanie McMahon, offering McMahon a
match against her at some point in the future. The following day, McMahon
responded, saying that Lynch was talking to the wrong boss and needed to
worry about Sasha Banks. Lynch is currently scheduled to defend the Raw
Women’s Title against Banks at next Sunday’s Clash Of Champions event.
There are no current rumors of a future McMahon vs. Lynch match.

I think you have the wrong Boss @BeckyLynchWWE, good luck against
@SashaBanksWWE at #ClashOfChampions next Sunday! @WWE
https://t.co/6pUOHgd2I5

- Stephanie McMahon (@StephMcMahon) September 8, 2019

There is a history between the two of them. Check out a major brawl from
earlier this year:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: This is one of those matches that might not be the most popular
but it makes a lot of sense. Lynch barely has anyone left to fight and
coming up with a story for her to face McMahon isn’t that hard. Like her
or not, McMahon is viewed as one of the most important people in WWE and
having her face Lynch could be a big deal, especially with a big return to
go with it.

Do you want to see the two of them fight? When would it happen? Let us
know in the comments below.

WATCH: Good WWE Women Go Bad (Heel Turns) In New Top 10 Video

Posted: 08 Sep 2019 06:02 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/derekstoughton/watch-good-wwe-women-go-bad/

Sometimes, an attitude change is all that you need. WWE has posted a new
video to their YouTube channel, in which they show heel turns of various
female superstars over the years. This is in response to Bayley turning at
the conclusion of last weeks episode of Raw.

You can see the video in its entirety below:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Some of the moments involve superstars such as Lita, AJ Lee, Becky Lynch,
Eve Torres, Trish Stratus, Mickie James, Nikki Bella, Sasha Banks and
Bayley.

Bayley is scheduled to defend the Smackdown Live Womens Championship
against Charlotte at the 2019 Clash Of Champions pay-per-view.

Editors Opinion:

I had forgotten about how many awesome female heel turns there have been
over the years. Some of them I picked up on and remembered right away;
others were ones that had completely slipped my mind. Im not sure that I
agree with the WWEs no. 1 pick for heel turns, but to each his own!

What do you think of the various heel turns of females over the years?

WATCH: Matt Hardy Takes A Shot At Chris Jericho Over Stolen AEW Belt

Posted: 08 Sep 2019 05:35 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/derekstoughton/watch-matt-hardy-takes-shot-chris-jericho-stolen-aew-belt/

Watch your belt. One of the biggest stories of the past week involved Chris
Jericho losing the AEW World Championship belt, after it was stolen from
his luggage, while he was eating at a Longhorn Steakhouse in Tallahassee,
Florida.

While this is a horrible event for him, it allows for other superstars to
poke some fun.

Matt Hardy has posted a new video to his YouTube channel, in which he
encourages everyone to watch their belt. It shows Hardy coming out of a
Longhorn Steakhouse after having dinner, and then running back in to get a
normal belt that is used to keep pants from falling down.

You can see the video in its entirety below:
[This post contains video, click to play]

The belt ended up being recovered by the Tallahassee police department and
returned to Jericho and AEW a few days after it went missing.

Editors Opinion:

I love it when stuff like this happens. Even though he is rarely, if at all
on television anymore, he continues to keep himself relevant by using
modern technology and social media to connect with fans and entertain the
masses!

Main Event Results - September 5, 2019

Posted: 08 Sep 2019 04:12 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/main-event-results-september-5-2019/

Main Event

Date: September 5, 2019

Location: Royal Farms Arena, Baltimore, Maryland

Commentators: Renee Young, Byron Saxton

We’re another step closer towards Clash of Champions and that means it’s
time to look back at the foot print that the week has left. I’m not sure
what to expect this week, though you can probably guess on a few
highlights. Maybe that can include some more from the King of the Ring,
which isn’t getting the most attention on this show. Let’s get to it.

Opening sequence.
No Way Jose vs. Mojo Rawley

Jose knocks him down a few times to start as Renee thinks some liquid
courage could get her into the conga line. A clothesline puts Rawley on the
floor but he’s right back with a Pounce for two back inside. Rawley hammers
away in the corner for two but the chinlock doesn’t last long. Two Stinger
Splashes connect so Jose is ready for a third. Rawley charges into a boot
and a Backstabber puts him on the floor. A flip dive from the apron and a
high crossbody give Jose two but Rawley rams him into the corner again. The
Alabama Slam gives Rawley the pin at 6:03.

Result: Mojo Rawley b. No Way Jose Alabama Slam (6:03)

King of the Ring chat.

From Raw.

Here are Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins to open things up with a contract
signing. Rollins knows they can work together to beat Robert Roode and
Dolph Ziggler but his intentions are to walk out of Clash as a double
champ. Strowman says he’ll win but Rollins brings up slaying the beast to
win the Universal Title, which is something Strowman doesn’t know about. At
Clash, he’ll slay the monster.

Seth signs but here’s the OC to interrupt before Strowman can do the same.
AJ explains the double title concept and asks who he’s going to face. He’ll
just walk around showing off his title because that’s how you get a title
shot around here. AJ wants to know why the Good Brothers aren’t getting
their title shot and threatens to slap Cole’s teeth down his throat. Once
inside, he rips up the contract that Strowman hadn’t signed, so the table
is turned over and the fight is on.

So that didnt work:

[This post contains video, click to play]
Also from Raw.
Braun Strowman/Seth Rollins vs. OC

Non-title and joined in progress with Rollins kicking at Anderson before
it’s off to Gallows for the power. Strowman comes in and kicks Gallows down
without much trouble so it’s back to Anderson for an armbar on Rollins.
Seth gets sent outside and into the barricade for a knockdown as we take a
break.

Back with Rollins hitting an enziguri on Gallows and bringing Strowman in
for the house cleaning. The running powerslam is broken up and everything
breaks down, with AJ getting on the apron for a distraction. That’s broken
up and Rollins grabs a rollup to finish Anderson at 11:43.

Result: Braun Strowman/Seth Rollins b. OC Rollup to Anderson (11:43)

That was a bit better:

[This post contains video, click to play]
Post match Strowman does the run around the ring shoulders but hits Rollins
by mistake. Cue Roode and Ziggler to help with the beatdown as all five lay
out Strowman and Rollins.

We look at Sasha Banks’ explanation, setting up Bayley’s heel turn on
Monday Night Raw.

From Smackdown.

Here’s Bayley to open things up with her usual entrance, including the tube
men. The fans are rather happy to see her after what she did. Bayley
doesn’t understand what people expected because she gives her whole heart
out there very time. She wants the fans to feel the way she did when she
was a kid and she’s trying to show the younger fans what it means to be
loyal. That’s why she had Sasha’s back last night when it got rough.

She’ll prove that when she beats the selfish Charlotte at Clash of
Champions, so here’s Charlotte to interrupt. Charlotte admits to being
selfish but what you see is what you get. There is no hugging so Bayley
should hug the title goodbye. Cue Sasha so Charlotte decks Bayley before
fighting Banks. Bayley comes in with the chair though and they both beat
Charlotte down.

An old friends beatdown:

[This post contains video, click to play]
Clash of Champions rundown.
Dana Brooke vs. Sarah Logan

Even commentary is pointing out how well these two know each other by now.
Logan dropkicks her before the bell, likely wanting to get on to anything
else as well. Some early stomping has Brooke in more trouble and Logan
knees her to the floor without much trouble. We hit the chinlock for a bit
until Dana fights back and hammers away, including sending Logan outside.
Back in and Dana’s Swanton gets two so Logan pops up and hits a running
knee to the back of the head for the pin at 4:04.

Result: Sarah Logan b. Dana Brooke Running knee to the back of the head
(4:04)

Long video on Roman Reigns’ attacks, including Erick Rowan being revealed
as a possible attacker.

From Smackdown.

Here’s Daniel Bryan to demand an apology from Roman Reigns. The fans rather
approve of Bryan, who thinks it means they finally understand him. People
think that Bryan is guilty by association but now we know he had nothing to
do with it. Bryan has never lied to anyone and he hates liars of all kinds.
Therefore he wants and gets Reigns out here but Erick Rowan jumps Reigns
from behind. A powerbomb sends Reigns into the post and the claw slam makes
it even worse.

Rowan grabs the mic and says Daniel had nothing to do with this. He yells
at Bryan for thinking he can control Rowan and offers to fight Bryan right
now. Come slap him again like he did last week. Bryan isn’t sure what to do
so Rowan talks about being proud of what he did to attack Reigns, which
included attacking him with the car. What makes him most proud though is
the pain that Reigns is going to feel at Clash of Champions. Rowan throws
him outside and hits him with the steps, drawing Bryan over to slap Rowan
again. The claw slam puts Bryan through the table to end the show.

Beware the bald man:

WATCH: The Undertaker Appears on College Gameday

Posted: 08 Sep 2019 03:11 PM PDT
https://wrestlingrumors.net/derekstoughton/watch-undertaker-appears-college-gameday/

It would appear that football can raise the dead. Yesterday, on ESPNs
College Gameday, The Undertaker made his presence felt like only he can.
Broadcasting from Austin, Texas, The Dead Man did his full entrance,
complete with name graphic and pyro.

You can see the entrance via Twitter below:

? THATS THE UNDERTAKERS MUSIC ? pic.twitter.com/6DCURh9GdO

- College GameDay (@CollegeGameDay) September 7, 2019

The Undertaker is a big college football fan and is also a fan of the
University of Texas Longhorns. The no. 9 Longhorns hosted the no. 6 LSU
Tigers, and were defeated 45-38.

The Dead Man will be making his return to WWE programming this week on
Smackdown Live, which emulates from Madison Square Garden in New York City.
He made his a major return a few months ago when he came face-to-face with
Goldberg for the first time:

Editors Opinion:

I love it when we get to see the out-of-character side of the Undertaker;
it is definitely a moment that occurs very rarely. Also, I am both a huge
college football fan and a graduate of the University of Texas, so this
appearance was doubly special to me! Hook Em Horns!!
