This is the first call for votes for the 2009 R.s.p-w Year-End Achievement
Awards!

The R.s.p-w (rec.sport.pro-wrestling) Year-End Achievement Awards are an
Internet tradition dating back to 1990. The Awards recognize both
excellence and...well, whatever the opposite of 'excellence' is...in the
sport of professional wrestling. This is the astonishing 20th year of
these awards!

This year's awards cover the one year period between November 2, 2008 and
November 1, 2009. Please try to keep this ENTIRE span of 12 months in
mind when you submit your votes!

There will be three Calls for Votes; this is the first. I will also post
a call for votes on or around the 16th and 23th of November. I will stop
taking votes on the 30th of November. I hope to have the results ready by
the 15th of December at the latest.

Following this article will be a list of the previous winners, a final
list of nominations, and an official ballot for your votes.

Voting will take place via email only. One vote per person, please.
Please use an *official* ballot! If you can't find it here, please email
me and I'll send you one. It will also be available at the rspw.org
website.

Please exercise your right to vote! These awards wouldn't be what they
are (or aren't) without your support!
