Yeah, probably, but that's okay. I forgive you.
Anyway, our first Addiction card is coming out next week, June 20th, so I'm sending this out to maybe get a few more guys to get that card started on the right foot, and the fed itself to get a good start. We have 3 guys so far on the roster:
"Redback" Baz Quinn
Rain
Derek Decker
A few guys are in the process of joining, and could be in the next day or so. Jump in soon, and maybe I'll stop advertising for now :)

TSW? What?
\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\
Tri State Wrestling, TSW, was first created on June 5th, where it was officially announced that there were openings. However, Josh Shaffer’s partner in crime, Frank Germaine, initially put the idea in his head to get this thing started, and to get it off the ground. Josh Shaffer got ahold of George Struss, who announced that he would also help in the creation of Tri State Wrestling.
Tri State Wrestling is based around the three states of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Events will only be held in arenas in those states, and nowhere else for the time being. TSW’s Headquarters is located in Trenton, New Jersey.
TSW sends out flash packets every few days, depending on how many flashes are given to us. That ‘show’ is called Dissention, and more can be read on that later. We have a weekly show on Wednesday nights, Addiction, where the stars will come out and do what they do best. They’ll be ready…but the question is, are you?
Sure, that was a horrible ending to this part of the FAQ, but oh well, it’s my FAQ, and that’s how I wanted to end it.
\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\
Front Office
\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\
I’m going to start this off as saying that TSW will not be focused on angles that have to do with the owner/owners of the company. I really think it takes away from the wrestlers themselves, so these people are just who really runs things. You can call everyone here by their names when you do flashes, so you don’t have to change everything. Like I said, you won’t be seeing a lot of us on TSW television, because it works better without a bunch of crappy owners jumping on the TV every other second…
2.1 Josh Shaffer
Josh
Shaffer is the man that runs things in Tri State Wrestling. He’s the one
that does the webpage, updates it, puts together the cards, and writes
matches as well. He promotes the organization when he isn’t working on
the fed, but otherwise, he’s working on the fed. After all, the man has
no life, so there really is no need for him to do anything else besides
trying to make this federation different from his other ones…a success.
He knows that with Frank Germaine’s help, that this organization will,
in fact, be a success.

2.2 Frank Germaine
You
can call him the Vice President, the co-owner, whatever you feel like.
It’s not like he’ll ignore you or anything. Frank helps Josh out with the
booking, and what general direction he should go in, so that he can succeed
in doing this. Not involved in card writing at this time, but will if he
needs to in order to see the fed stand tall.

2.3 George Struss
Josh
Shaffer’s longtime friend, who offered to put in some help with the card
writing aspect of Tri State Wrestling. He’s been through hell, and has
actually dealt with all the crap that Josh gives him. That’s gotta suck,
but he gets through it, and is still willing to help. He helps out by writing
matches, advertising, and helping with the booking or angle development
if Josh and Frank draw blanks.

Also
a longtime friend of Josh, who offered to help with the writing of Addiction
and such in Tri State Wrestling. He's also been through it all, as had
everyone who was ever involved with Josh.

2.5 Available Positions
At this point in time, there are some positions as card writers open in Tri State Wrestling. If you are interested in card writing for Tri State Wrestling, then give Josh an e-mail at:
You MUST be dedicated, and you have to be on time with your matches. If you are told to write one match, I would really like that match the day before the card is supposed to be put out. Basically, I’d need you, as a card writer, to give me your scheduled matches the DAY BEFORE the card is scheduled out. So, since our cards are on Wednesdays, for Addiction, then I’d need you to get me your matches sometime on Tuesday. That way, there is no fear of the card not being out on time because of late matches.
\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\
Basic Information
\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\
3.1 Roleplaying
Roleplaying is done by ‘flash packets’, or e-mail, in Tri State Wrestling. You, as a wrestler, will send us your roleplays:
Roleplays aren’t really
judged greatly, because they are considered promos that the wrestlers do…and,
in actuality, TSW is kind of based the way ECW was. In that, they emphasized
wrestling over interview skills. I’d really like TSW to work like that,
and I really think that everyone will be interested in this. One roleplay
a week is needed, and should be sent in. It doesn’t have to be long or
anything like that, just something that gets your point across. I don’t
want lengthy interviews that drag out, just to get a certain number of
lines.
Before
sending your roleplay, check it over…YOU read it. Read it thoroughly, and
while doing it…say to yourself, “would I want to read this?” Don’t just
give it to me if it’s not something that you would want to read because
it just drags on. Chances are, the longer it is, the more it drags on…and,
the more I may send you down on the rankings.
3.2 Strategies
Strategies are the most important part in Tri State Wrestling. Why are they the most important part of TSW, you ask? Simply because, it shows me what you would do in the match. It shows your WRESTLING ability, with nothing else being put in higher regard. Keep reading, and you’ll get the idea of how to do it. All strategies will be sent to:
Here is a basic outline of what we need on those strategies.
WRESTLER: Your wrestler’s
name is needed, so we know who to add this stuff for.
MATCH: Put the match
that you are sending this strategy in for.
ENTRANCE: Put your entire
entrance for the match. What music plays, is there pyro, what happens to
the lighting, what does your wrestler do…all that kinda stuff is involved
in this.
MOVES: Here is where
you give us moves that you want to use in your match. You need to include
at LEAST 10 moves, but more is appreciated, and make your match all that
more effective.
SPOTS: Match spots are
exact things that happen in the match. It is something that you can’t really
put in for just a ‘move’. You need to explain it, and things like that.
Explain what happens to you and your opponent with the move, just as if
I were to copy and paste it into the card. Things like run-ins, new move
introductions, manager things, big moves, reversals, finishes. All those
included.
ENDING: What happens
when your match is over? Does your wrestler shake hands with his opponent?
Or, does your wrestler beat him up? Is there a run-in? Whatever you want
to happen at the end of your match, put that here.
3.3 Angles
A big part of Tri State Wrestling is also the angles/storylines that are involved with it. If you didn’t win a match, it might not have been because your roleplay didn’t meet standards, or because your strat wasn’t as good as we would’ve liked it…it could be because of an angle. You have to understand that there is no reason to freak out over a loss in a match. It is just that, a loss. Everyone has them. Everyone has to take them, so they are done for angle/storyline advancement. Deal with the losses, and deal with the angles. If you really are not liking the current program that you are involved in, then please let me know, and we can work something out.
\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\
Shows
\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\
There are two shows a week for Tri State Wrestling. One show is solely for interviews, and that is called Dissention. The other show is our main program, Addiction. Sometimes there will be Pay Per Views, but only for big purposes. There won’t be any every single month or anything like that. Instead, there would be one every other month, or one every 3 months. It all really depends on what goes on.
4.1 Dissention
The show where your interviews are placed. They are compiled together, and given out in one lump. They will be sent out on either Monday or Tuesday, depending on how much I have together. All interviews for the show must be sent to us by Sunday Night. Any given to us after that will be considered, but may not be put on the show.
4.2 Addiction
Tri State Wrestling’s primary show, Addiction, takes place on Wednesday nights. Addiction will have 4 matches, but maybe a bit more. More like 5, but it just depends on how many people are active on the roster. I’d rather not have a ton of matches, so that the wrestling itself is showcased, and is special, instead of just another common thing. Makes for a better fed in my opinion.
4.3 Pay Per View
PPV shows are not every month, and will probably instead, be every other month. When a Pay Per View is held, everyone is notified, so nobody will be in the dark. It is a special occasion, and because of that, there shouldn’t be an annual one every single month. Makes everything look better, in my opinion.
\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\
Championships
\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\
5.1 TSW Heavyweight Title
This is the big thing in Tri State Wrestling. The thing that everyone is gunning for in here. You got this title, and you are a marked man. You will not turn the corner without the thought of someone jumping you in your mind. Nobody is your friend…they all want that title.
5.2 TSW Tag Team Titles
The Tag Team Titles signify that you ARE the tag team of Tri State Wrestling. Every team will be lurking in the shadows, trying to pry the titles from your grubby hands. The only question that remains is…can you defend these titles all the time, successfully?
\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\
Rules
\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\
Yes, even Tri State Wrestling has a set of rules that all you guys will need to follow. There aren’t that many, so it’s not a big deal to just go through and read ‘em.
- If you lose a match,
it’s either because of the way an angle was going, or just because your
opponent did a better strategy for the match than you did. If you lost,
face it, everyone has to lose. Pick yourself back up, and keep going.
- No using other wrestlers
in your interviews, unless there is a circumstance involved. If you get
his approval, then that is fine, and you can go ahead with it. If not,
don’t do it. Just be sure to ask.
- Participate as much
as you can in TSW. Talk to me about angle ideas for your wrestler, or talk
about what I can do to make the fed better. Or, as a big plus, help us
write some matches once in a while. It’d help out a lot, and definitely
lighten the workload that we have.
