NOTES FROM THE FRONT OFFICE
******************************

-Hey guys, I've decided to just put the new pieces of important information
in this section:

-GUYS THIS IS IMPORTANT: We are officially back on real time now. In your
roleplays, you need to acknowledge that we have skipped most of April and it
is now 4/30/2000. The first Shockwave of the week will be out on 5/2/2000
and will be dated 5/2/2000/

-With a lot of new members in the league, you need to know the format for a
roleplay. This is all I require:

*******************************************************
YOUR FULL NAME IN ALL CAPS UNDER THE HEADER OF STARS
*******************************************************
TO: Who it is to
FROM: Who it is from

It isn't a hard thing to remember and if you have any questions, please
contact me.

-Deadlines for card submissions are 10:00 PM CST On Thursday Night. If you
need extra time, you need to contact me ASAP and have a good reason. Also,
please make notices of the format for interviews on Meltdown and Global
Invasion. If you are new to the league, I know you got Meltdown so please
study how the interviews were formatted. If you have any questions, please
contact me.

-Also, I would like to see you all start to treat Shockwave as the
television program that it is. ANGLES can progress on this show and don't
think that just because it isn't Meltdown, you shouldn't make an attempt to
do so. Same goes for The Global Invasion. However, try to steer away from
doing in ring interviews on Shockwave. Use Shockwave to get your character
over in an out-of-ring setting and use Global Invasion and Meltdown for
in-rings. MAKE THINGS INTERESTING AND STAND OUT. Shockwave is the
character development program!

-PLEASE REFRAIN from referring to other leagues in your flashes. It takes
away from the image I'm trying to build of GPW being the only federation
worth joining on the internet :) (However, if it is part of an angle or you
have permission from me, you can do so. I just don't want any federations
with words like MAIL or CYBER or INTERNET mentioned AT ALL)

-I welcome comments, criticisms, and suggestions. Also, please fill out
that questionaire for the federation review

THE NEWS AND RUMOR MILL:
**************************

-Well, what an off period it has been! In the next section, you will see a
list of new talent that Global Pro-Wrestling has signed up and they all will
make their debut this weekend in Arizona! A big welcome goes out to Barry
Gradwell, Will Geddings, Jacob Azrael, Matthew Funk, and Sargon Shammas!

-Now on to the news...after Meltdown went off the air back on April 9th,
Commisioner Blain was quick to make a decision about what to do with Hi-C's
actions. After no-showing their interview segment and costing Adam Rogers
the GPW American Heavyweight Title to Ric Donovan, Commisioner Blain has
made this ruling. On Sunday in Phoenix, Arizona, Hi-C will be forced to
fight Adam Rogers and two partners of his choice and, if they no-show, they
will be STRIPPED of their titles. HOWEVER, Rogers has the option of not
revealing his partners until they are announced and you can rest assured
that he won't. The obvious choice for Rogers would be Tommy Gunn and Mad
Valentine but, I've heard some rumors about other possible additions as
well. Domination is a strong possibility as they have been looking to find
a third person to form an alliance with. In any case, I think Hi-C's
actions just came back and bit them in the rear. Also, on the Global
Invasion this week, Mad Valentine and Furious Steele will headline in the
main event. We've also been told that COMMISIONER BLAIN WILL BE ANNOUNCING
THE STARLIGHT GALACTIC MAIN EVENT IN PHOENIX AS WELL!

-Ric Donovan is your new GPW American Heavyweight Champion and he's already
letting the fact the he's the number one contender to Page's World Title get
to his head. He is forgetting the fact that Furious Steele won the belt for
him after putting Rogers down back in Tokyo. However, Donovan is not
letting that get to him and, this Sunday, he will make his first title
defense against Carl Blair. We all saw Blair interfere in Darren Skiles'
match in Toyko....will Skiles cost Blair the American Title? Also, one must
have to wonder what newcomer Will Geddings will do. He too is a wrestler
with AWMC ties so he might be drawn into this conflic as well. Plus, you
always have to factor in the likes of Studd, who faces Skiles on The Global
Invasion, Walker, Evans, and Alec Ace. In any case, the American Title
Match is going to be interesting.

-The tag-team scene continues to heat up here in Global Pro-Wrestling as The
Coast to Coast Connection are brining honor back to the American Tag-Team
Titles while everyone is lining up to get a crack at Violence and Corruption
2000. On Meltdown this Sunday, Sex and Violence will fight Derek Sweger and
Frank Ewiak in a big contenders match. In addition, The Coast to Coast
Connection will fight Domination in a non-title match on The Global
Invasion, XTremeCharisma will fight Alec Ace and Kris Evans, plus Ric Studd
will be interviewing The Coast to Coast Connection on The Global Invasion
while Domination has been given interview time on Meltdown. It should be
another wild week in the tag-team ranks.

-After the situations that went down on Meltdown, Global Pro-Wrestling
officials are intrigued at a possible future match-up between Oyabun and The
Phoenix. This Saturday, on The Global Invasion, both men will square off in
a non-title match but I don't think this will be the last time we see them
fight. Also, Rune might be factored back into the mix and a possible three
way for the title could soon occur. Also, Rune will be battling Rex Watson
on The Global Invasion this week.

-David Smith would like to formally announce the start of his new company,
"Flash and Cash" Promotions. He states that he can make anyone a star with
the right marketing and the right ammount of money thrown at him. We all
saw his actions on Meltdown when he "assisted" Damon Knight so, could Knight
be Smith's first client? Who knows. We do know that Damon Knight will be
defending his Television Title this week on Meltdown against the very
impressive Bloodshed. Will Smith be involved? Or will The Coast to Coast
Connection and Cameron Kidd have a word in this match? It should be
interesting to say the least. Speaking of Cameron Kidd, he has his title
match with Kyle Cole this Saturday on The Global Invasion!

-Well, he wanted it and he's going to get it...The Zinmaster will get his
crack at Tommy Gunn this Saturday on The Global Invasion. I personally
don't like The Zinmaster's odds in this one. Speaking of Gunn, he will be
on Meltdown this Sunday and might adress this situation with the press
release regarding CCW. I do not know why we got it but it did state that
Gunn has ties to CCW so he might be able to shed some light on it.

-Watch the new talent very closely this week. Word has it that they are
hungry to earn their spots and that we should be very impressed. From the
looks of things, it appears we have a very good mix of talent.

-It's coming up....Starlight Galactic on May 28th from The Superdome in New
Orleans, Louisiana. Mark your calenders now!
