A.Introduction<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
1.What is the LVPWA?<BR>
<BR>
LVPWA stands for Las Vegas Pro-Wrestling Association, opened on September 28,
1999. <BR>
<BR>
The LVPWA isn't a regional fed despite it's name. It's based out of Las Vegas,
Nevada and many shows will take place in the city of Las Vegas and state of
Nevada but will also go out to places all over the West coast. For the norm but
it will also go out all over the US and Canada. It will even occasionally
venture into other countries all over the world from Europe to Japan. <BR>
<BR>
The LVPWA will house many different types of matches depending on the occasion.
For the norm it will be the usual, standard match with the regular rules. D's
and Countouts are in effect but it will be based on the referees judgment. If
Wrestler A pulls out a weapon, or brings a chair into the ring and blatantly
hits Wrestler B with it he'll most likely be disqualified. If the match spills
out to the floor for the most part chairs and other objects can be used, the
ref may warn about it but unless it gets out of hand he won't call for a DQ. If
another wrestler not involved in the match that will also cause a DQ.<BR>
<BR>
As for countouts, For the most he'll only count if one of or both are down on
the floor not showing much movement. If the two are battling on the floor the
ref will usual warn them to get in the ring but won't count them out. If after
several warnings and if the brawl begins to move down the aisle or into he
crowd he'll count them out. <BR>
<BR>
But the most important thing of all, the LVPWA is here for fun. To create
characters and run angles with other handlers. If you're hung up on winning and
gonna throw a fit if you lose than don't bother applying. I know I'd rather
watch interesting angles and storylines than boring, heatless matches.<BR>
<BR>
2.Who runs things?<Fictional><BR>
<BR>
The LVPWA was founded by Sebastian T. Myerson in September of 1999. He's in his
early to mid Twenties and has been around wrestling most of his life. He
usually dresses simple, in a blue blazer or sportscoat, and a pair of denim
jeans or black dress pants. He has short, dark blonde hair. He's around 6'2
1/2" and weighs around 230. <BR>
<BR>
Sebastian booked and wrestled for an Independent Promotion in California where
he learned the ins and outs of the business before he and the Promoter had
creative differences leading to Sebastian's departure. Afterwards he went to
Nevada and got his promoters license. He went to Las Vegas and decided to open
up his promotion in the City of Sin. <BR>
<BR>
But some things came up, personal problems so he gave a call to former ICW
President and founder James Pillow. Pillow had different plans at the time so
he said he'd think about it, and after some things went down Pillow decided to
take him up on the offer and came on board as the President with Myerson as his
VP and head-booker. Pillow has also decided to handle things backstage and in
the office, such as recruiting and PR leaving Myerson to handle the buisness in
front of the camera.<BR>
<BR>
The LVPWA had close to a year long run, some of the biggest names in wrestling
found themselves involved in the Las Vegas promotion before certain financial
problems came up and James was forced to shut the promotion down suddenly.
Several months later a man by the name of Michael Stone contacted Pillow and
made him an offer for the rights to the LVPWA. Pillow took the offer and Stone
got to work on getting the LVPWA back on it's feet which brings us here..<BR>
<BR>
3.Who runs things?<Real><BR>
Me, James Pillow, President, booker, recruiter, match writer...A regular jack
of all trades.<BR>
<BR>
I could use whoever I can get to write matches. It's not required of you to
write matches for the LVPWA but I definitely will appreciate it if you can,
even if it's every other card, or even just for PPVs or other special cards.
<BR>
<BR>
B.What are the Titles?<BR>
<BR>
1.LVPWA World Championship<BR>
<BR>
The granddaddy of 'em all. The LVPWA World Championship. Whoever holds it is
the top dog in the game, but will also be the one wearing the bullseye on his
chest. Everyone will be trying to be the one who dethrones you. The belt must,
and I mean MUST be defended once every month. Greatly encouraged to defend it
more often, but it has to be defended at least once a month or it will be
stripped away.<BR>
<BR>

2.Las Vegas Championship<BR>
<BR>
This is pretty much the Television title of the LVPWA. It must be defended
every week on Heavy Metal Monday and at the PPVs. This is probably the hardest
belt to hold onto but depending on how well you do as the Las Vegas Champion
you can rise to superstardom.<BR>
<BR>
3.LVPWA World Tag Team Championship<Pending><BR>
This is the top tag team title. Tag Team wrestling has had a lot of ups and
downs over the years but I've always liked tag divisions and if harnessed right
great angles and storylines can come out of it. 30 day rules applies here.<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
C.What are the Cards?<BR>
<BR>
1.LVPWA Presents - Heavy Metal Monday<BR>
<BR>
The main show of the LVPWA. Hosted by John Williams, and Kevin Lockland. This
is where angles are born, feuds are ignited and heat is built up for the PPVs.
The matches are in full written form. Each show will have between 6 to 10
matches. <BR>
<BR>
2.Who, Then, Now?<BR>
<BR>
This is the weekly flash show. <BR>
<BR>
3.PPV's/Supercards<BR>
<BR>
The LVPWA will have 5 PPVs a year. <BR>
<BR>
The next PPV which will kick things back off in the LVPWA is entitled "A
Return to Greatness..." and will air early to mid February depending on how
things go. From there it looks like this<BR>
<BR>
April - "Sin City Showdown II"<BR>
June - Road to the Gold 2001<BR>
August - TBA<BR>
October - Slot Machine Slaughter<BR>
<BR>
Names for future PPVs are always welcome.<BR>
<BR>
4.Update<BR>
<BR>
Nothing major here. Just the basic information. Rankings, champions, injuries,
upcoming cards. Everything to keep you updated on the things going on.<BR>
<BR>

D.LVPWA Staff Members<BR>
<BR>
1.Commentators<BR>
<BR>
a.John Williams - John Williams is one of the best play by play guess
around. He was the staple announcer of the ICW and found his way into the LVPWA
when Sebastian Myerson had his little breakdown. Williams tries to keep himself
composed at all times but when guys like Lockland push him to far he won't hold
back. <BR>
<BR>
b.Kevin Lockland - The basic smart mouth, egotistical jackass that didn't
have the size nor the talent to make it in the ring so he sits in the booth and
runs his mouth. Myerson found him in the California Promotion trying to wrestle
and brought him to the LVPWA as his head heel commentator. He likes to insult
the fans and wrestlers<except for the few he likes> as well as annoy Williams.
He's around 6'0"" and weighs around 205 pounds. He has blond hair and blue
eyes. He's a boyishly cute kind of guy, but he usually ruins that with his big
mouth. <BR>
<BR>
2.Interviewers<BR>
<BR>
a.Janet Moxen - As well as co-hosting Who, Then, Now? she does backstage and
in-ring interviews on Heavy Metal Monday. She likes the job 'cause it gives her
an excuse to go into the mens locker rooms.<BR>
<BR>
b.Josh Davis - Nothing special. Just a guy to hold the mic and ask wrestlers
questions. Not a real big buy so he tries to stay in-line with the wrestlers.
He does some interviews but mostly covers things as they go down during the
shows,<BR>
<BR>
3.Referees<BR>
<BR>
a.Dan Bernie - The LVPWA head ref. He's been around the wrestling world for
a long time and knows the ins and outs in the ring. Another guy Myerson took
with him when he left the cali based promotion. Dan is in his mid-thirties and
is in decent shape, he's around 5'10" and weighs around 190. He's not going to
be beating up the wrestlers but he's not afraid to stand his ground.<BR>
<BR>
b.Roy Ash - Hired for his size at around 6'1" and 215. He has learned the
rope as a ref under Bernie and has become quite good at it. He's the type that
will let it all hang out during the match, but if you go over the line, or put
your hands on him he's not afraid to call for the bell or just put you on the
mat. <BR>
<BR>
c.Jim Adams - A veteran ref. He's in his early 40's. He's not used that
often, and has a lot of old school values, so don't be surprised if he calls
for the DQ more often than others. <BR>
<BR>
<BR>
4.Ring Announcers<BR>
<BR>
a.Rick Milton - The ring announcer for Heavy Metal Monday and PPVs. He knows
what he's doing and does it well. He's in his mid thirties, and is a relatively
good looking guy with short dark brown hair, 5'10", 175. <BR>
<BR>
5.The Bosses<BR>
<BR>
a.Michael Stone - Owner and CEO. Michael isn't well seasoned in wrestling
and is strctly a business man, you won't see him on camera at the shows unless
under the most extreme of circumstances.<BR>
<BR>
Jack Stone - LVPWA Commishioner and brother of Michael. Jack is a former
wrestler, he was never widely known but where he was known he was respected and
feared by many, but after a career ending injury he stepped away from the game
until his rother purchesed the LVPWA and needed a man to keep things in check
on camera.<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
E.What you must do.<BR>
<BR>
1.Roleplays<BR>
<BR>
The thing to do, if ya don't Roleplay you don't win, simple enough. If you do
not Roleplay, you will be warned, jobbed and then cut from the roster.<BR>
<BR>
-VULAGARITY:I can let the occasional one slip. "Ass","asshole", and "bitch" can
be tolerated on occasion but anything bigger than that must be bleeped. <BR>
<BR>
-No Attacking other wrestlers/managers/announcers or anyone else without
getting permission.<BR>
<BR>
-Don't break character. This may be wrestling but it's Fantasy wrestling which
means no mentioning any real wrestlers. Also don't mention other Fantasy
federations unless it pertains to something, like if you're facing someone in
the LVPWA that you faced in another fed then that's fine. <BR>
<BR>
-AMOUNT - There will be a two roleplay a week max, but only one RP will be
required. If you don't have a match I recommend you keep to one RP on those
weeks. In-Rings and locker room interviews can also be done. Let me know ahead
of time if you are going to do this as I don't want to have to many.<BR>
<BR>
2.Strats<BR>
<BR>
Strats are encouraged as they help the writers of the match get a good feel of
the character and what you want him to do in the match. They don't hold as much
weight in booking as flashes and angles but they can be good in close matches.
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
3.Angles<BR>
<BR>
This is what makes things go round. An interesting storyline helps build up
much needed heat in feuds and makes people want to read the matches. Get
involved with other handlers, come up with ideas and go with them. That's what
makes things fun.<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
F.How things are booked/decided<BR>
<BR>
The LVPWA is a Booked fed outcomes of matches aren't based on roleplays alone,
roleplays/strats/angles/heat all come into play. Your character isn't going to
go undefeated, you're going to have to take loses, pay your dues so to speak.
If you're not willing to take a lose to further an angle than you shouldn't be
here. <BR>
<BR>
Newcomers may find themselves doing the job to the bigger names early in there
stay in the LVPWA, but that doesn't mean you can't go onto beat him later down
the road. Everyone has to pay there dues, it doesn't matter how big a name you
were somewhere else, when you first come to the LVPWA you have to take your
bumps like everyone else. It's patience and hardwork that will bring you to the
top.<BR>
<BR>

Never thought of that.

>"And now, your EL VEE PEE DOUBLE-U AY champiooooooooooooon...."

Maybe he'll just say "And now, your L ... V ... P ... W ... A Champion!"

Or not...
