For you suckas to vote.. we already have 40+ for the opening round, and if you
want yours favorites to win, then fill out the damn ballots.

I. Intro
II. Format
III. The Voting Process
IV. The Categories

VI. The Deadlines

I. INTRO
Hola. This is M.J. 'Maz' Mafaro, longtime e-wrestling handler who decided to
call
it quits for a while some time last year, and as been lurking around ever since
then. As you may or may not know I once handled V.D. Vitrone, the most adored
character in the history of e-Wrestling. Yeah whatever, anyways, I was looking
through the old archive of e-wrestling cards on my hard drive (which totals
over 300 MBs) and I thought to myself,

"Wow, there really were some great characters out there."

Well I was drunk, so I doubt it made that much sense, but I'm sure I
said something along those lines.

To make a long story short, I thought it would be really cool to see who all
the handlers and fedheads thought that the greatest character of all time was.
The criteria is simple: vote for who you like. Whether it be you like the
character's name , gimmick, enjoy their roleplays, whatever floats your boat.
The purpose of this
poll is to get a general consensus of who is "Mr. Popular" so to speak.

This little tournament that I've thrown together is called E-Wrestling's
Finest,
and has gotten its name, but its general purpose is to find out exactly who
is the best in the eyes of the fans -- whether you, the voters, be fedheads,
handlers,
or just RSPWF trolls. All votes are equal in this case.

As for determining the participants, I would like to think that I have a
semi-wide
range of e-wrestling knowledge, and well, on a bored Sunday night, in
#New_Chat, I was able to get some help from Chris Buse and Joe Birmingham in
filling the categories. Good little servants, they are.

Anyways.. here's how it goes.

II. FORMAT

With help from others, I've come up with who I feel to be 64 of the greatest
characters in e-wrestling's history. From these 64, they were divided into
eight categories, based primarily by gimmick type.

Your job, as voters, is to determine which one of these 64 is truly the best.

I tried to make some interesting categories, and I think I did a good job, in
that any given person could garner enough votes to win their respective
categories.

III. THE VOTING PROCESS

How the votes are going to be calculated is quite simple.

THE FIRST ROUND (QUALIFYING ROUND): The voters vote for one person from each
category which, for you mathematically challenged, comes down to eight people.

The amount of votes each participants receives will then be calculated and the
TOP TWO wrestlers from each category will move on to a 16 MAN TOURNAMENT (KoTR
style).

THE SECOND ROUND: All matchups for the Tournament shall be randomly selected by
yours truly, with each participant being given a number between 1-16, and then
numbers being drawn from a hat..

Blah blah blah, it comes down to 8 matches, where you, the voter, have a chance
to determine the winner by mailing in your Round 2 ballots.

THE THIRD ROUND: The 8 winners move on to the quarterfinals. Again, the winners
are determined by the same format of the second round.

THE FOURTH ROUND: The 4 winners move on to the semi-finals. Same format as the
second round.

THE FINAL ROUND: The 2 winners face off in a one-on-one for the E-Wrestling's
Finest Reader's Tournament Championship.

IV. THE CATEGORIES~!

Here's a brief description of what each category means.

BADASS - Those scary bastards who's sole purpose is to beat people up. They
never run from away from a fight and foam at the thought of a bloodbath.

FOREIGN: Your typical wrestling immigrant. They're of a culture other than
American and have come here to spread their evil ways.

BOY SCOUTS: Those who seem to always have the fans backing them, no matter what
they do. They have an honor code and are sportsman, rather getting things done
the clean way.

ANTAGONIST: See V.D. Vitrone. Seriously, these are the guys whom you hate,
whether they're sneaky, evil, or just downright annoying. Whatever the case,
these
are the guys who draw the major heel heat and are always looking to cheat their
way out of things.

JUNIOR-HEAVYWEIGHTS: These are the guys who put on the sleeper matches of the
cards, and sometimes don't get as much respect as their heavyweight
counterparts. But JHWs make up some the more interesting characters in
e-Wrestling and often move on to make their mark in the HW division as well.

VILLAIN: SUPAH-HEEL~! These guys are kind of a cross between a Badass and an
Antagonist. They're the big, nasty bastards that steal candy from babies, and
rob old ladies. Move over Saddam, these are some bad men.

ALL-ROUNDERS: They can play the face. They can play the heel. These are the
versatile guys who sort of go with the flow and select their alignment
depending on the given feud.

LEGENDS: Come on. Just look at the members of this category, and you tell me
what it means.

V. THE PARTICIPANTS~!

Without further adieu, the participants...
