(The show opens and Endangered Species is seen making their way to the
back entrance of the Pontiac Silver dome. Both men appear ready and able
to hand someone a beat down. As they reach the door a voice is heard off
in the distance.)
Voice: Excuse me, sir? Could you spare some change?
(A bedraggled man, hunched over wearing a ratty black trenchcoat
approaches Synger and Threatt. His face is hidden behind a beard that
appears crusted with 5 day old food stains. Disgusted, Endangered
Species back away from the man for fear of the possible smell.)
Threatt: Look, old man, you don't step back now, and we'll definitely
have a little time to spare an ass-beating!
(From behind, Synger is suddenly hammered in the back of the head with a
lead pipe. The sickening thud turns the stomachs of the viewing
audience. Surprised, Threatt turns around only to be caught by the
upswing of the same leadpipe. Before the camera can catch a view of the
perpetrator, the old man speaks again, and the camera focuses in on his
back as he runs away.)
Voice: That's LESSON number one!
(A black screen is then shown then epic-style monastic chanting music
begins to play. As it does assorted clips from all the last year of
Colosseum action are flashed in white across the screen. The clips seem
to be at random, but as they progress it becomes clear that there are
following the history of the fall of the Warriors. They then show the
mysterious disappearance of the Alpha Hapf and Diablo Blanco winning his
first World Title. It then shows Defiance beating Diablo Blanco for the
World Title and holding it over almost 4 months. Clips include his wins
and devastations of Enigma Deux and Dan Forge, as well as his wins of
Lord of the Colosseum 2001. Then Targeter is seen shocking the world as
he beats Defiance for his first World Title reign. Spliced through out
these clips history of the intended feud between Wendigo and the man now
know as Boogie. Wendigo's regional title reign is highlighted, as is the
shocking surprise of Spartan returning to beat Targeter for the World
Title. Quick flashes highlight the buyout of the WLWA and it's
superstars. Then the shot fades to a picture of Targeter, Defiance,
Wendigo, and Boogie with the graphic "World Heavyweight Title
Elimination Match". The music ends suddenly with the sound of an anvil
being struck a giant Roman Numeral "III" slams into position, then with
a whooshing sound the word "SLAMFEST" scrolls onto the screen leaving us
with the Slamfest logo. Then fast paced rock and roll music begins to
play and we cut to the inside of an arena. Thousands of fans have filled
the building and "SLAMFEST" banners hang from the rafters. The camera
pans past the ring and as it does so a huge pyro display erupts from all
around the ring. The fans cheer loudly then a familiar voice-over is
heard.)
TOM THOMPSON: WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO THE BIGGEST NIGHT IN WRESTLING!!!
IT'S SLAMFEST III!!!!
(We cut to a table at ringside, behind it, Ray Styles, Charlie Warner,
and Tom Thompson are seated, each decked out in a tuxedo.)
RS: Welcome Folks...the moment we have all be waiting for has finally
arrived...SLAMFEST III!
TT: Can you feel the electricity in the Air? This is going to be an
incredible night!
CW: That electricity you feel is your beeper you keep calling...but this
is going to be a great show! People always kick that little extra ass at
Slamfest!
TT: Hey!
RS: Hahahaha. This is going to be a great show, all Colosseum Title as
on the line, but before we get to the action lets go backstage.
(The camera cuts to the back, right by the doors leading into the arena.
They swing open, and three people make their way through. Jason Dyers,
former Regional champion and Colosseum superstar. Walking beside him,
the Colosseum Commissioner, Andrea Hill, and the World Champion,
Targeter. The three are all in a fairly good mood, and the crowd gives
them a pop as they see them on the big screen. Targs and Andrea are
staying very close to each other, and are holding hands. They turn to
walk towards the dressing rooms.)
Targeter: Well, here we are! The biggest night of our lives is about to
get bigger...are you ready, Andrea?
AH: As ready as I'll ever be. I'm going to go change.
Targeter: We'll wait for you here.
(Andrea heads into her dressing room. Jason grins and walks up to
Targeter.)
JD: I saw what happened earlier down by the restaurant...way to go,
Wade!
(Targs smiles, and almost blushes a bit.)
Targeter: Thanks, Jason...I know what you and Dana did now, she told me.
I owe you two a lot. I've always been in love with her...now I can
finally express it...
JD: I'm glad to finally see you two together.
Targeter: It feels so weird now...but...in a good way! I'm just glad the
two of us could get our feelings out in the open. And if this is any
indication as to how well this night is gonna go...then I can't wait for
my match.
JD: Knock 'em dead, Targs...
(Cut back to ringside.)
RS: Well, there you have it, fans. Everyone has always suspected it, but
earlier on tonight, it was proven to the world! Targs and Andrea are in
love...and I'd like to personally wish them good luck on their new
relationship!
CW: This is stupid...now they're in love?! Great, now that Targs will be
nailing her...he'll get all kinds of favors...
TT: Now, I think Miss Hill has a little more integrity than that!
CW: We'll see...won't we?
(The camera then cuts to the announcers table.)
CW: All this makes me sick...we have a Commissioner who openly says that
she's in love our World Champion...and this is all right?
TT: What are you talking about?
CW: Andrea...come on, she opens admits she's in love with Targeter and
no one seems to mind.
RS: I have to admit...it does sound a little suspicious.
CW: A LITTLE!?! But I'll give her credit; she knows how to hide her
tracks.
TT: What do you mean?
CW: I mean I am impressed that she hasn't gotten caught yet. Targeter
takes weeks off at a time and no-one blinks. She's good...
RS: I am sorry folks, but I am getting word from the back that it is
time for our first match.
CW: A little birdie in your ear tell you that? Wouldn't be a FEMALE
voice would it?
RS: ...
CW: That's what I thought. Thompson gets to make an ass of himself on
Nation TV and no one says a think...but I question one Ms. Hill and I
get the big censer.
TT: Hey!
RS: On that note, lets get to the ring.
TT: Remember Folks, If Spartan pins T, then Spartan gets to referee the
MAIN EVENT.
RS: But if T pins Spartan then T gets a Regional Title shot.
("Kryptonite" by 3 Doors Down plays over the speakers as the lights dim
and get a reddish tint to them as Giovanni "The Spartan" Tetrarch walks
out onto the ramp. He holds both hands in the air high above his head in
closed fists and then walks to the ring, slapping hands of the fans as
he passes them. He hops up onto the apron and goes over to one corner.
He stands on the second rope, looks around the crowd, and then hops into
the ring. Once in the ring, the lights return to normal and he waits for
his opponent. "Bawitidaba" by Kid Rock slowly starts up as the fans jump
to their feet as fireworks go off all over the arena in the colors of
blue, red, and orange. The fans jump to their feet. They cheer, chant,
yell, and scream. From the back T appears. The fans explode as T slowly
walks down the ramp and Hobo Guy moonwalks it down behind him. T climbs
onto the apron as Spartan just looks. T says something to Hobo Guy. Hobo
Guy runs and grabs a mic and hands it to T. T smiles and brings the mic
up.)
T: Gio, Gio, Gio. How are you this fine evening Gio?
(T reaches the mic out. Spartan steps foreword, but T pulls it back. )
T: Great, I'm soooo glad. I really am. Ya see, tonight Spartan you have
the chance to go and mooch of some others in the main event one more
time. What do you have to do? Pin me. Is it gonna happen? No, no its
not. In retrospect, just by pinning you, just by doing what I have done,
oh so many times before, I get a Regional Title Shot. That, well that is
going to happen. And do you know why? Because it is T TIME, and I
am...........
(The fans cheer as T smiles. )
T: TOO GREAT, TOO WAI..............
(Just before T can finish Spartan grabs him by the hair and whips him
into the ring. T gets to his feet and Spartan dropkicks him into the
corner. Spartan runs at T. T side steps and smashes Spartan's head into
the corner. T does it again, and again, and again. Spartan grabs his
nose. T grabs Spartan gives him a jaw breaker. Spartan now grabs his
jaw. T waits for Spartan to turn and gives him a spinebuster. T goes to
the top for an elbow drop. T flies off the top, but Spartan rolls out of
the way. T grabs his elbow. Spartan pulls T up. Spartan looks T in an
arm wrench. T flips and tries to get out. Spartan stops this and locks
in a half nelson. T grimaces in pain. Spartan now locks in a full nelson
as T is still down. T tries to get out. Spartan pulls back farther. T
refuses to give. Spartan releases the hold.)
RS: And Spartan starts off aggressively...
(T goes down and tries to push himself up. Spartan bounces off the ropes
and nails a leg drop to T's back. T is laid out flat. Spartan rolls over
and locks T in an anklelock. T immediately jumps out and grabs the
ropes. Spartan releases the hold. T pulls up on the ropes. Spartan drops
an elbow onto T's arm. T goes down again. Spartan pulls T up. Spartan
whips T quickly across the ring. T hits the corner hard. T is hung in
the tree of woe. Spartan elbows T in the lower extremities. The ref
warns Spartan. Spartan smiles and nails T with a dropkick to the face. T
falls to the mat again. Spartan pulls T up. Spartan grabs T's arm and
goes to the top rope. Spartan walks the top rope, jumps off, and lands
an elbow onto the shoulder. T lets out a scream in pain. Spartan goes to
the top with T's arm again. Spartan jumps and nails an elbow to T's
shoulder again. T screams again. Spartan goes for three. This time T
turns and clips Spartan. Spartan flips off the top and hits the mat
hard.)
RS: Now T has taken over. This has been a good one so far.
TT: And I pity the fool who messes with T!
CW: Oh...God...you're an idiot...
(T now pulls Spartan up and punches him with his left arm into the
corner. T executes a sereis of knife edge chops on Spartan. T now climbs
up and punches on Spartan's head.
1...........2..............3..............4...............5.............6....7....Spartan
now runs with T out of the corner. Spartan tries the Spartan Smash. T
flips back onto his feet. T stumbles into the corner. Spartan runs with
an elbow. T ducks. Spartan hits the corner and stumbles back. T grabs
him and executes an inverted DDT. T grabs the leg of Spartan, flips him
over, and locks in a half crab. Spartan grimaces in pain, but refuses to
give. T reaches out his injured right arm and pulls back the other leg
of Spartan, locking in a Boston crab. Spartan reaches out for the ropes,
but T drags him to the middle. T now crosses the legs of Spartan and
locks in the T-Off. Spartan now covers his head from the pain. T tries
to pull back farther, but then completely releases the hold.)
TT: Why did he release the hold?
CW: Why don't you watch and see...we can't take you anywhere .
(T grabs him right arm. Spartan pulls himself to his feet. Spartan
smiles as T holds his arm in the corner. Spartan slowly walks over. T
swings around. Spartan grabs his arm. Spartan twists it a bit and then
takes T down with a DDT. Spartan pulls T up again. Spartan nails a
backbreaker. Spartan then pulls T up and locks in a torture rack.
Spartan does a spin and then drops T into a shoulder breaker. T drops to
the ground in pain. Spartan drops down and hooks a leg.
1...............2..............kickout.)
TT: Yikes!
RS: Spartan almost had it there...
(Spartan pulls T up again. Spartan locks in a full nelson. T grimaces in
pain. Spartan drops T with a full nelson faceslam. Spartan now signals
that its over. Spartan pulls T up and goes for the History Lesson. As
Spartan is about to finish it off, T flips over Spartan's back and rolls
him up with a small package out of nowhere. 1.............2...kickout. T
and Spartan both get to their feet. Spartan and T run at each other.
Spartan swings,b ut T grabs him and drops him with the T Drop. T gets up
and grabs his shoulder again. Spartan slowly gets to his feet while T
grimaces in the corner. Spartan runs at. T drops his good shoulder and
gets T up. T spins Spartan and nails the Tantalizer. T and Spartan are
both down. T pushes himself over and covers with his left arm.
1........2..........kickout.)
TT: Yikes!
RS: T almost had it there...
CW: Jesus, can't you two be just a little original.
(T rolls over and continues to hold his arm in pain. T gets to his feet.
T pulls Spartan up and goes for the T Line with his left arm. Spartan
ducks. T turns and nails the T-Line, but with his right arm. T screams
out in pain. T just shakes his head and pulls Spartan up. T is obviously
in pain, but signals for the TNT. From the back Suicide King and
Vigilanty Virus run out. T sees the two and signals for them to bring
it. Both run down, but Crasting and Anslemo come from behind and knock
the Heretics down. The four brawl. T looks out and is about to join in.
Spartan grabs T from behind and nails him with a crucifix bomb. Spartan
covers. 1...........2.............kickout.)
RS: You have to give T credit...he's hanging on here...
CW: I don't have to give him anything...
(Spartan signals for the end. Spartan gets T up for the History Lesson.
T uses his weight advantage, falls back and is barely able to suplex
Spartan. Spartan nails the ref on his way down. On the outside Anslemo
gives Vigilanty Virus the Cemetery Gates, sending him into the crowd. At
the same time Suicide King gives Crasting a piledriver onto the steel
steps. T and Spartan are both on their feet. The two stumble around and
stare off. Suicide King grabs a chair and rolls in the ring behind T. At
the same time Anslemo rolls in with a chair of his own behind Spartan.
Spartan and T notice neither of the two as the stare off at each other
intensely. T then spots Anslemo and smiles. At the same time Spartan
sees Suicide King and smiles. T and Spartan see each other smiling and
turn around. Both receive chair shots. T and Spartan fall back, into
each other, and then to the mat. Blood is now seen on both men's faces.)
TT: OH MY GOD!
RS: That's did look pleasant at all.
(Suicide KIng looks at T, and then sees Spartan down as well. Anslemo
sees Spartan down and T as well. The two look up and see other. Anslemo
runs at Suicide King with the chair. Suicide King is ready. The two hit
each other and flip to the outside. Slowly, the ref picks his head up.
He looks around and sees T with his arm on top of Spartan. He then looks
and sees Spartan with his arm on T. He picks up his hand and drops it
1..........2.............3!)
RS: Wait a minute!
CW: What the fu...?
(The bell rings. The ring announcer looks around The ref pulls himself
to his feet and yells to the ring announcer. The ring announcer nods.)
Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentleman. T has PINNED Giovanni "Spartan"
Tetrach.
(The fans explode into cheers.)
Ring Announcer: BUT, Giovanni "Spartan" Tetrach has also pinned T!
(Boos and confusion come from the crowd.)
Ring Announcer: The stipulations stated that if Spartan pinned T he
would ref the main event, while if T pinned Spartan he'd receive a
Regional Title Shot. So, as a result of a DOUBLE pin, T will receive a
Regional Title Shot AND Spartan will be the Special Guest Referee for
the Main Event World Title Match, tonight!
CW: God, how stupid can Andrea be.
RS: We've got to move on.
TT: This should be a great match, we have Bodie Styles defending his
Television Title against Twister.
RS: Although we haven't seen much from the self proclaimed People's
Champion in the last few weeks.
CW: Ah damnit who really gives a flying crap about this? Later on we've
got....
RS: Well actually the people really get into Bodie Styles. I think he's
one of the future stars of The Colosseum, without a doubt someone to
watch.
TT: And don't discount Twister, who has been.... CW: Pretty crappy all
in all?
TT: Ugh nevermind...let's go to the ring!
("Blaze of Glory" by Bon Jovi hit's The PA as a spectacular lightshow
goes off around the entrance and the stage. Twister comes out and runs
to the ring, and slides under the ropes. He then climbs all four corners
and pumps up the crowd by punching his fists away from his body to form
a human "T". He removes his sunglasses and tosses them to the ring girl.
Once he removes his shirt he wipes the sweat off of his face and torso
and tosses it into the fans.)
CW: That is so sickening...who wants a sweaty T-shirt? Especially his?
RS: I dunno....I just don't know.
(The lights begin to fade and strobes flash. Blue and gold strobes.
"Break Stuff" by Limp Bizkit starts to play as rockets shoot from the
top of the ring to the stage, igniting the whole stage in a pyro blast.
The lights return as Bodie Styles walks out to a pretty impressive pop.
He stops at the top of the ramp and stares at the crowd, the Colosseum
Television Title around his waist. He holds a bottle of water. He throws
it onto his head and tosses it into the crowd. He reaches out and clasps
the fans hands as he reaches the ring. He walks up the steel steps and
steps over the ropes. He turns around and walks towards the turnbuckle.
He climbs it and looks at the crowd. He shoots up his right hand and
spits out the water. He smiles at the crowd and jumps down. He walks to
the opposite turnbuckle. Climbs it. Spits out rest of water and raises
up left hand. He throws his hair back and goes to the middle of the
ring, after handing his Television Title to the ring girl outside.
Twister comes forward and the referee calls for the bell to ring.)
TT: Both men look ready to go....Bodie's absence doesn't seem to have
affected him at all.
RS: That's with looks....who knows how he'll perform in the ring?
(Bodie and Twister lock up, neither getting the advantage for a few
seconds so they break it off. They stare at each other for a moment
before locking up again. Twister gets the advantage and goes behind
Bodie with a hammerlock. Bodie throw an elbow back but Twister releases
his hold and ducks it. Bodie turns around to be met with a kick to the
gut. Twister then follows up by getting Bodie in position for a DDT, but
Bodie forces his way out of it and pushes Twister back a few steps.
Twister goes for a haymaker punch, but Bodie ducks it and goes behind
Twister. Twister turns to face him, only to be met with a kick to the
gut and Bodie setting up a DDT. Twister forces out of it and pushes
Bodie back a few steps. Bodie comes forward only to be met with a right
hand to the face, followed by a DDT that takes him down hard to the mat
facefirst. Twister goes for a quick early pinfall, but Bodie kicks out
before the referee even counts to one. Bodie rolls to his feet and
Twister takes a few steps back to get room to rush at Bodie with a
clothesline. Bodie ducks it and waits for Twister to turn around. When
Twister does turn, Bodie hits a duo of knife edge chops and then whips
him at the ropes. Twister hits the ropes but grabs on, but Bodie doesn't
notice as he ducked to set up a back body drop. Twister rushes forward
and hits Bodie hard in the face with a knee lift.)
RS: Impressive showing by Twister, he's taking it right to the champion.
TT: You can't count Bodie out though, he can take quite a beating before
being bogged down, we've seen him come back from worse before.
CW: Huh....when?
TT: I....I can't think of an example right now, I'm trying to call the
match.
CW: That's what I thought.....tool.
(Bodie has stumbled back from the knee lift, so Twister presses his
advantage, hitting Bodie with a few punches and then whipping him into
the corner of the ring, with Bodie hitting his back on the turnbuckle
pretty hard. Twister comes forward and props Bodie up on the top
turnbuckle, and motions as if he is setting up his finisher, The Total
Devastation. As he climbs up to Bodies level though, Bodie punches
Twister in the gut and Twister falls on his butt on the mat. As Twister
stands up, Bodie jumps off of the top turnbuckle with a flashy flip and
hits a corkscrew elbow on Twister!!! Twister hits the mat and so does
Bodie, as Bodie has never really tried a move like that before. Bodie
gets to his feet while Twister is still on the mat, and holds his arm
up, calling out to the fans. He gets a pretty big cheer for his effort.)
TT: Wow, I don't think we've ever seen a move like that from Bodie
Styles.
(Bodie goes over to where Twister is on the mat and looks like he is
going to put on a Boston crab. But as he gets close, Twister rolls over
and knocks Bodie down with a double leg takedown. Twister then mounts
Bodie and goes to punch him in the face, but right after he hits him
with the first punch, Bodie knocks him off and gets to his feet. As
Twister gets up, Bodie hits a flipping drop-kick that sends him right
back to the mat. As Twister tries to get to his feet again, Bodie hits a
second drop-kick much like the first, only much stronger. This time
Bodie follows up with a pinfall attempt.....1......1.7....and Twister
kicks out a bit before 2. Bodie gets up and Twister rolls back and then
suddenly leaps up with a rising clothesline that connects right with
Bodie's neck. Bodie hits the mat hard, flipping as he is hit and landing
on his chest. Twister stands over Bodie and grabs him around the waist,
locking his arms and then pulling Bodie off the ground and back with a
German Suplex. Twister keeps the bridge for a pinfall
attempt.....1.....2....and a strong kickout right at two.)
RS: Twister with the German Suplex gets only a two count.
CW: Yeah....we all saw it too.
RS: I'm just calling the mat, you know since it's my job?
CW: Yeah well I'm adding color, you know, since it's my job.
(Twister gets up and then pulls Bodie with him. Twister goes to set
Bodie up for a suplex, but as he pulls Bodie up, Bodie escapes and flips
so he lands on his feet behind Twister. Before Twister can turn, Bodie
waistlocks Twister from behind for a German suplex, but Twister throws a
stiff elbow that connects with Bodie's jaw and causes him to break the
hold. Twister turns around and set's Bodie up for the Cellar Door by
putting him in a pedigree position. Before he can hit the move, Bodie
lifts up so Twister is lifted up and flipped backwards so he lands on
his back. With a deft move, Bodie leans back and grabs around Twister's
neck, and then flips so he has him in a pinning position by he himself
being in a crab position over Twister and putting weight down on
Twister's shoulders. The referee goes to count.....1...2....and Twister
lifts up with all his strength to get out.)
TT: That was a cool pinfall attempt by Bodie.
CW: Yeah it might have looked cool but it didn't get the pin, did it?
(As Twister lifts up, he manages to get his arms wrapped around Bodies
waist, so Bodie is being held up by Twister. Twister spins Bodie around
so he has him in position for a Tombstone Piledriver. Bodie counter
though by flipping over where he has Twister in the Tombstone Position!
Yet another counter though leads to Twister having Bodie in position for
the Tombstone and this time he waists not a second in hitting connecting
Bodie with the mat with The Piledriver. Instead of following up with a
pin though, Twister lifts Bodie up and set's him up for The Cellar door
again. Twister hesitates for a brief second before going for the move
though, and Bodie again manages the strength to lift Twister up and over
so he hits the mat back first. Bodie stumbles into the nearest
turnbuckle back first to rest, obviously leaning on it for support while
Twister lays on the floor.)
RS: Twister should have followed up that Tombstone with a pin, because I
think he'd be champion right now if he did.
TT: Bodie's in a rough spot now, look how he's leaning on the turnbuckle
for support.
CW: Twister is an idiot for not pinning and Bodie just plain out sucks.
I mean really now, what has he done in this match other than a few fancy
flips and counters? Twister has dominated him.
TT: Some wrestlers act more defensively than offensively and I think
it's a sound strategy since Twister has the size advantage.
(In the ring as Bodie rests in the corner, Twister gets up and gets to
his feet and sees Bodie in a tough spot. Twister rushes the corner, but
at the last second, Bodie leaps up and connects with Twisters jaw with a
double leg kick! Twister stumbles back a bit and Bodie jumps up on the
second turnbuckle and then leaps off in one fluid motion, hitting
Twister to the mat with a Flying Clothesline. Twister gets up quickly by
rolling to his feet but Bodie was waiting for him. After mouthing off or
a second as Twister gets up, Bodie hits him square in the jaw with a
perfect Superkick!!!! As Twister hits the mat, Bodie goes to the ropes
and climbs to the top turnbuckle, motioning to the fans as Twister lays
motionless.)
TT: Bodie's got his second wind, and with the people behind him, he'll
be even stronger.
RS: Listen to the crowd cheer their champion!
(The crowd is chanting Bodie's name as he leaps from the turnbuckle and
hits Twister with a Flying Moonsault. Bodie stands up and motions for
the Wipeout to the cheers of the people!!!! But as he lifts Twister to
his feet to set it up, Twister pushes him back forcefully in the corner.
The only problem is, the referee was between them and the turnbuckle,
and he couldn't get out of the way in time. The referee is sandwiched
between Bodie and the turnbuckle, with Twister getting out unscathed.
Twister steps away and waits for Bodie to stumble forward as the referee
slumps to the ground. Bodie stumbles a few steps closer to twister and
Twister goes to punch him, but Bodie blocks and hits a punch of his own.
Twister goes to punch again, but Bodie blocks it and punches again! As
Twister falls back, Bodie grabs him for the Wipeout, which he set's up
and hits without a problem. As the crowd cheers, he goes for the pinfall
on Twister, but the referee is still knocked out. The crowd counts for
Bodie, and they get to five before Bodie gets up and turns to find the
referee knocked out. Bodie goes in the corner to try to revive him to no
avail as twister lays there.)
TT: Bodie should have had it there.....
CW: But he didn't. Remember, should haves don't count, wins do.
RS: Wait what's that commotion? Look in the crowd!
(As Bodie looks away, from the crowd on the opposite side runs a masked
luchador. The luchador slides in the ring and comes up right behind
Bodie, waiting for him to turn around.)
TT: It's Enmascarado Luchador de Mejico! What is he doing out here?
CW: Who?
TT: I don't know who, but he showed up a couple of weeks ago on Rumble
and beat down Bodie.
CW: Well it looks like he is about to do it again. Ha ha ha...I love it
when idiots like Bodie get screwed!
(Bodie turns away from the referee and is met with a few rights from the
Masked Luchador! The Masked Luchador Follows it up a vicious picture
perfect Screwdriver, which knocks Bodie out cold.)
TT: What a viscous Verdadero Gotas!
CW: A What?
TT: That's what he told me that move was called.
CW: My grandma can pull of more impressive moves that that.
(The Masked Luchador grabs Twister's prone form and throws him on top of
Bodie's prone form. the crowd boos and hisses as the Masked Luchador
slides out of the ring and hides wiaitng for the inevitable. After a few
moments, the referee finally groggily opens his eyes and sees the pin. A
slow three count attempt ensues.....1.........2.........3.....and the
referee motions of the bell to be rung, declaring twister the new
Television Champion to a resounding chorus of boos.)
TT: The crowd is not happy with that at all.
CW: Who cares? Twister shouldn't he's champion now and Bodie isn't and
that's all that matters.
(Twister is slowly awakened when he realizes he won and he gets up and
grabs his title belt from the referee and holds it up in the air for all
to see. He seems surprised when the fans boo him heavily, so he slides
under the ropes and starts to walk to the back as the music plays.)
CW: Ha ha....he doesn't even know how he won. He thinks he did it
fairly; wait until he sees the tapes.
RS: That Wipeout of Bodie's really knocked him out for sure.
(As Bodie slowly gets to his feet and realizes he lost, the Masked
Luchador slides in the ring again behind him and as Bodie turns to face
him, he is knocked to the ground with a heavy Dropkick. The Masked
Luchador motions for a microphone to be tossed to him, after which he
stands over Bodie Styles on the mat.)
ML: Odelay! Arriba la...Nevermind. Bodie Styles, you are no people's
champion, for you are not a champion of my people. Aww screw this shit
too!
(The Masked Luchador begins to remove his mask. He does it slowly. First
we see his hair which is long black dreadlocks and we begin to guess who
it is. Finally the man removes his mask completely and the crowd is
shocked to see that it is Fieldy.)
TT: IT'S FIELDY?
CW: Great! Another loser is back.
TT: But wasn't he in a tragic car accident a few weeks back?
CW: We had hoped....
(Fieldy stands over to the life less Bodie Styles and gets in his face.)
Fieldy: Bodie, I bet you thought we were through! Well, I have news for
you. Not by a long shot. You want a match, you got it. You just name the
time and place and I'll kick your ass one more time.
(Fieldy throws the microphone down and gives Bodie a kick for good
measure. The fans boo the hell out of him as he walks down the ramp and
out of sight. Bodie just lays in the ring staring after Fieldy.)
TT: Fieldy returns and beats the living hell out of Bodie.
RS: These two have some serious heat, it's going to explode when they
face each other.
CW: Ya, Ya.
RS: Hold on a second, I was just told that Andrea hill is in the bank
with Mark Norris.
CW: Grrreeeaaattt.
RS: Lets go to the back.
(Andrea Hill stands backstage with Mark Norris. She's now in her full
ring attire...and looks ready to fight. However...she looks a lot more
cheerful then she did in the past. Norris looks at the camera and
addresses the fans.)
MN: Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm here with our Commissioner, Andrea Hill.
In a little while, she will face Michael Wendigo for the Regional title
match. Now, Miss Hill, before we get into that...I'd like to ask you
about what we saw earlier on Colosseum TV, when you and Targeter...
AH: What's to ask about? Today's a great day! For years, I've loved that
man...and now, I'm admitting it to myself, and the whole world. Hear
that, everyone? I LOVE WADE KRUSE! I'm not going to hide my feelings
anymore! Go ahead, critics, bash us if you like...but I'm following my
heart!
MN: ...All right, then...we'll move on. Tonight, in a match that has
caught the interest of everyone here...you will face your unofficial
rival, the Regional Champion, Michael Wendigo. Now, you are the obvious
underdog...what are your feelings going into this matchup tonight?
AH: This is the greatest night of my life...no question about it. Not
only can Wade and I finally be honest with each other...but I get to do
what I've always wanted to do. Ever since I was a young high school
girl...I've wanted one thing and one thing only...to be a wrestler. And
that dream was kept alive as I grew up. And when I was done school...I
convinced my parents to give me the money to go train to be just
that...a pro wrestler. And that's what I did...I went through all of the
work I needed to do to become ready for my shot at the big time. To
become a great, well-known women's wrestler. Back a couple years ago, I
was watching the Colosseum, and I saw Wade on there. I knew right then
and there that that was where I should go. Not only could I re-unite
with my childhood friend, and future boyfriend(she winks), I would get
my chance to compete. So, I met with the talent guys down there,
wrestled a tryout match...and soon after, I signed my contract. It was
the perfect time to bring me in, too. They were about to hold a battle
royal to determine the first ever women's champion. I was to be in that
for my debut. But everything went horribly wrong from there. The women's
division fell apart, and the match was canceled. I was stuck there, with
no one to wrestle. Instead of just releasing me like a lot of the other
women, the suits though that I could be used in other way, so I was kept
on hold until finally, I got to be...the ring announcer. there never was
any talk about me wrestling again. That killed the dream...
AH: But about a year ago...the dream was brought back to life. I got to
be in a mixed tag match, I got to show a sampling of my talent. And I
gave it my all...put on a great show...but after the match was over...no
one mentioned anything to do with me and the ring again...I had another
tag match besides that...but I never really got to break out on my own,
now I can.
AH: Tonight, I get to finally face someone, one on one. This is my big
chance to be what I wanted to be from the beginning. This whole thing
isn't just about my personal feud with Wendigo...it's a way for me to do
what I love...I just want to compete. So I'm a woman fighting a
man...big deal. Competition is still competiton...wrestling is still
wrestling. Wendigo might not take me seriously...Spartan may not take me
seriously...hell, I wouldn't be surprised if no one took me
seriously...but I have to try. I have to go out there, and give it my
all...and I will. Will I win? Will I lose? You know, it really doesn't
matter to me. As long as I am able to put my heart into it. Wendigo can
break my bones...but he can NEVER break my spirit!
(The camera then cuts bank to the announcers table.)
CW: Ahhh, how sweet...Andrea's been watching Braveheart, "THEY MAY TAKE
OUR LIVES...BUT YOU WILL NEVER TAKE ...OUR FREEDOM! Ya, it sounds just
as stupid when she says it.
TT: Man...you better be careful...
