[CCW] Reopening

Some of y'all know me pretty well, so I won't bother with lengthy
introductions. I handle Brett Hunter in the IWWC and Ethan Andrews in the EMWC
and GLCW, or the character formerly known as Tommy Gunn to GPW fans (that's
right, I'm talking to both of you).
Anyway, it's my personal opinion that _nothing_ comes close to comparing to
EMWC, LWC, and IWWC. They're the best at what they do. And while I appreciate
all the talent and the genius involved with each one of those feds, the past
few weeks I've missed my "home" fed--a little known indy fed named Championship
Caliber Wrestling.
A little history on the CCW--it was opened in April of 1999 and closed a year
later, in April of 2000. But in that year, we put out some entertaining shows
with solid angles and great storylines. The man who originally ran the CCW,
Paul Pratt, left the e-wrestling game to pursue a career as a professional
writer... which was the reason for the fed's closure IRL.
Now, after some persistant bugging from some of the old handlers, I've been
given the dutiful job of reopening the doors of Championship Caliber Wrestling.
I haven't even bothered to write up a FAQ yet. It's forthcoming, but in the
meantime, I'll give you a short little blurb about us.
The CCW's going to base it's schedule on that of the IWWC and LWC. Just like
IWWC's got its main show in Outbreak and a secondary, summarized show in
Presents, the CCW will follow a similar pattern. Our main show, HELL 2 PAY,
will feature about five, full-length matches, and be sent every two weeks. Our
second show, X-TREME TV, will feature five to eight summarized matches, and be
sent in between the weeks which H2P is broadcast. So the schedule should go
something like H2P one week, X-TV the next, and so on.
I'm planning to keep a purposefully small roster, of about 20-25 wrestlers.
Many of the former CCW handlers have already reapplied, but I'm pretty bent on
adding some new blood to the mix. So that means that we've got roster spots
aplenty. I'd love to sign a few "name" guys to help me anchor this league. If

The tentative start-up date for the CCW is set for November 26, 2000.
