I feel kind of strange posting about this, but what the hell. After reading
the whole thread on the top 10 e-wrestlers and such, I noticed a distinct
pattern, and that usually is that most wrestlers mentioned are all
participating in the same fed or group of feds. I've noticed VERY few
crossovers, such as Trey Porter and Mark Bagwell and Zack Malone. Just
everyone else in within a little circle. My own characters are an easy example
of this. Damage Inc(the entire stable) are active in at least 3 or 4 feds
(NCW, NCWF, FWLI, FoPEW) but the four of them have hardly been mentioned.
That's not to say that other feds have their great competitors too. But how
could one rank Todd Newkirk over here and Chris Degeau (sp?) over there? The
booking may be a completely different system. Some characters have good
interviews, some GREAT and I don't mean rambles or one-liners either. But does
that determine a great e-wrestler? I don't know....but if that part isn't
clear, then I don't see how the discussion could be carried.

I am blushing at this point because Damage Inc. has been mentioned quite a few
times, something I am still not used to seeing, although they have been around
for almost 2 years and just about everybody is used to them (if not tired of
them <g>). I would propose something like this....which strings to the "best
match writer" thread. Possibly just posting some damn good matches, those
matches that just turned out good, or was the final match in a VERY good feud.
I have quite a few examples I can think of. It's these matches that determine
how good a e-wrestler is, not how many moonsaults he can do or how many chair
shots he can give in a 10 minute period. Let's see what you guys think.

I got to completly agree with this. I don't really think there is a
way to ever get a Top 10 best e-wrestlers list. There's way to many
feds, and like Steve just mensioned, each have their own systems of
determining winners, and their own circle of wrestlers, and MOST
handlers don't know about the other e-wrestlers outside their circle.

Honestly, the only thing we could actualy vote a Top 10 for, is your
FAVORITE e-wrestlers, not the 10 BEST e-wrestlers. Which you think
draws the most heat or POP? Or which are suitible for being a main
event PPV draw? etc...

Another point I wouldn't mind mensioning, (which might get me flamed
again, but in the words of Wil Smith... AH WELL!), which is the best
e-fed out there. I hear the handler of Super Scott saying the EWA is
the best on the net, and the rest are crap. Sorry, that ain't true.
Sure the president and the EWA writers might be award winning writers,
and it's roleplayers are using e-wrestling as a past time from
finishing their 400 page novels, but does that really make them the
best fed?

I would say the best fed would have to be, where everyone is happy,
satisfied with about the cards write up's, and are just simply having
fun with the angles, and interacting with the other RP'ers. I think a
lot of people are forgeting that e-wrestling is a game, and games are
supposed to be fun (And yes, I did forget about the fun part a while
ago, myself).

The point is (if there is one), that each fed has their good, and
their bad. There's no way anyone is going to tell me that the EWA and
it's Kliq are perfect and that they are the best. They have their
faults, and so does every fed on the internet. Because if you didn't
have any faults, you would be running your own real life indy fed
right now making real money, and not an e-wrestling fed just for fun.

Remember, just have fun, it's a damn past time for goodness sake! And
now... let the flaming begin....or cntinue, which ever your case may
be :-)

To Mark S,

It's just for fun, HUH? I didn't hear you mutter those words awhile
back when you sent an e-mail to many fed heads about not letting anyone
use the nick Badboy on there character. Or the time you tried to take
back the DPW name to start your own indy. Hmmmm....you sure seemed
interested in having fun when you were doing those things. If you
really thought it was about fun why did you do things.

I gotta agree with Bagwell on this one. His definition of the best
fed is what I think it should be. And all these people who are
calling EWA the "Best" on the Internet and the rest are all crap, I'm
also with Bagwell.

Have these EWAers been in every fed ever created???? I'm not saying I
have, but if theey joined every single fed, they would find that some
of these feds are crap, but they'd also find feds like FoPEW, TAEWF,
among others are really great feds. So you EWAers can have your own
opinion, but to make it a fact, try and research a bit more.(geez, I'm
soundling like a teacher now.)

Chris, are you brain dead, son? Who here besides Scott Hibbs has said all the other leagues
other than EWA are crap. Sure we say EWA is the best but I think
there are also many other enjoyable leagues out there. NOW YOU can
have you opinion but let's keep the facts too. You are saying
every EWA'er is saying all the other feds are crap based on one person
just like you are getting angry because Scott is saying all the other
feds are crap based on one fed.
