The Olympic Games in Beijing, China, will open on August 8, 2008. This
will be on the eight day of the eighth month of the year 2008 or 888.
Did you know that 888 is the number of Jesus?

each letter in the Greek alphabet has a corresponding value. If we
substitute the value to each letter in the name of Jesus in Greek and
add them up, the total is 888. In Greek, the name of Jesus is spelled
as IHSOUS (iota, eta, sigma, omicron, upsilon, sigma) as shown in
http://www.greekbible.com. These letters and their corresponding
values are: iota = 10, eta = 8, sigma = 200, omicron = 70, upsilon =
400, sigma = 200. The total of these values is 888. Coincidence?
888 is not in the Bible but the number of the Devil, 666, is
(Revelation 13:18). Did you notice that they are both three digits
repeated thrice? 888 may not be there because it still had to be
discovered. Did you know that the present form of the number 8 came
about only in the 10th century AD?
The superstitious Chinese has a fascination for number 8. The more 8s,
the luckier. To them, 888 is a very lucky number. The true God may be
giving a signal to them that their lucky number is the number of
Jesus, that they turn to Him to be lucky to go to the true Heaven.
This may not be mere coincidence but planned.

Are the Chinese not awakened by this sign that the opening day of the
Olympic Games in Beijing is equivalent to the number of Jesus, 888?
God loves all His creations. He created the Chinese just like He
created you and me. We all came from Him.
God must be giving sign to the Chinese to change from being atheists
to believers in God. How would they feel if their soul is
reincarnated to a Tibetan or to one who they torture and persecute?
Can God not do this? The Chinese should learn how to love their
fellow human beings. This is one of the commandments of Jesus, "That
ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one
another" (John 13:34). If only the Chinese knew Jesus and love his
fellowmen, then the Olympic Games would be peaceful. There could not
have been protests around the world.
