<< I have a few questions re: the Region 8 party on Feb 12. What types of
activities are you having?
It starts out at
The Baltimore Convention Center at the Baltimore Boat Show at
6 PM on Feb 12th in the seminar area We will assemble at the seminar area at 6
PM for a group photo for Jet Sports and discuss the year 2000 as it pertains to
PWC events and FUN.
I will also be asking for a donation in my son's name Andrew Morningstar (check
or money order preferred) made out to he National Leukemia Society C/O Andrew
Morningstar.
100%/everything/all of it, goes directly to the Leukemia Society.
LET's Do SOMETHING (+) Positive for our Sport
I hope to have GIVE-A WAY items (T-shirts, hats complementary memberships to
the IJSBA, etc.) to be distributed to those who contribute (this will only be
limited by how many I receive) If you know Don Morningstar you should also know
that there will be plenty of such items.
Is it a dinner?
YES, after we conclude at the Boat Show there is a short walk from the
Convention Center
to the ESPN Zone where we will gather for dinner (cost of dinner is paid by the
individual). Seating is on a first come first serve basis. The size of the hall
will be determined by the interest generated by those who call or E Mail me
there intentions.

Can they purchase tickets and if
so how much?
Tickets for the boat show are available at the door for $6.00
Entry to the ESPN Zone is free.
What else will we be doing on Feb 12th. Certainly not Jet Skiing. But maybe we
will on Feb 13th contact me for details.
This is our opportunity to get together and represent our sport in a positive
way all at the same time. Please if you cannot attend consider sending a

Since March when we discovered our son has leukemia we felt compelled to do
something. The region 8 gatherings are great fun. Please I encourage you to
participate in some way either attend the event or mail your donation.
Let's do something positive (+) while representing our sport.
Remember: Recreational riders as well as racers and friends & Family are all
welcome.
