Has anyone found out the top speed of this boat? I have been out twice
with sponsons full down, hit 51-53 mph on the speedo. Went out yesterday
with sponsons all the way up, hit 54 for just a second....avg=
50-52mph.
Also, the fuel guage reads down to the lowest setting in only 55-60
minutes! (this is the 760, NOT the 1200). the handling seemed a little
"squirrly" with sponsons full up.....a little weird, could not spin this
boat STILL.... was kind of prone to feel like it wanted to porpoise no
matter where I set the trim.
Anyone else have feedback on this craft?

Michael, if your fuel guage isn't any better at figuring out how much
gas is in the tank than mine in the GP1200, no problem. The GP1200
gauge says we're at 1/4 tank, I stop and go get two 6 gallon cans. I
put in one and about a gallon out of the other...1/2 a tank. It's
stupid all these manufacturers can't figure out how to make a gas
guage that reads correctly....they're ALL that way, so I'm told.

Darn, a Sea-Doo just went by my open door and I already put the "Hawg"
back on the trailer....too early to put away toys...
Larry, hope you love the 2 cyl Hawg as much as I love the 3 cyl Hawg.

Okay Larry. Got you on this one. The gas guage is very accurate, BUT
you must first decode it from the owners manual. You would figure that
3/4 tank and 1/2 tank would be just that.... WRONG. Check our your
manual for what Yamaha says. A little unusual until you get used to it.

PS. Please e-mail me with your Powwow information so I can contact you
in that environment.

Good day. Can't wait to get back to Alabama, Reno and Wynn suck!
