Michael, if your fuel guage isn't any better at figuring out how much
gas is in the tank than mine in the GP1200, no problem. The GP1200
gauge says we're at 1/4 tank, I stop and go get two 6 gallon cans. I
put in one and about a gallon out of the other...1/2 a tank. It's
stupid all these manufacturers can't figure out how to make a gas
guage that reads correctly....they're ALL that way, so I'm told.
Darn, a Sea-Doo just went by my open door and I already put the "Hawg"
back on the trailer....too early to put away toys...
Larry, hope you love the 2 cyl Hawg as much as I love the 3 cyl Hawg.
Okay Larry. Got you on this one. The gas guage is very accurate, BUT
you must first decode it from the owners manual. You would figure that
3/4 tank and 1/2 tank would be just that.... WRONG. Check our your
manual for what Yamaha says. A little unusual until you get used to it.
PS. Please e-mail me with your Powwow information so I can contact you
in that environment.
Good day. Can't wait to get back to Alabama, Reno and Wynn suck!
