Guys:
4 of us from Vermont are going to head down to Florida at the end of
February to do some jet skiing. I'm looking for suggestions on where to
go. Doesn't really matter what section just need a suggestion for some
good beaches, nice looking women, good waves and some night life.
Also,is there a campground nearby? Let me know, we've got 3 XP's and a
GSX itching to hit the water. Thanks. PS what's the water temps around
this time?

All around Coca Beach is good. Ride in ocean 1/2 day Then ride in fresh water
rest of day.Good Lake at I-95 & melbourne exit,On right side of highway going
south. Same lake Lloyd B rides at.

Went down last March. Check out Sugarloaf KOA. They rent trailers setup all you
need is linnens. If there are four guys going I would recomend the 30 footer.
The campground is 20 miles out of Key West, and a short ride by either ski or
car. Water temps. should be in the mid to high 70's, which shouldn't be a
problem for a northener. Want any more info contact me. The KOA has a site on
the web. Have fun.

Nice info but your water temp is way way off.
Its 61*....and it will be that way through the end of Feb.
It will start to warm up in mid March.

Port Charlotte area in Southwest Florida, Charlotte Harbor, has Gulf Access
and River Access. Not as populated as the east coast but a great place to
jet ski. Check out http://members.sunline.net/jetskier for more info. There
are motels, and also a campground on the Peace River.

I live in Titusville, Cocoa Beach is pretty fun to ride at, but is not
always easy to get to. Depending on where you want to ride, sometimes you
have to go out through the intercoastals. I have not heard of Lloyd (a good
friend of mine) ride there in a while. There are quite a few good lakes to
ride in. Quite a few people in Orlando practice. Do you want fresh or
ocean rides and do you want to practice with anyone? Let me know.
