Hi everyone, I've never even been on a jetski before but they look like
a lot of fun ,can anyone suggest a good used one for a beginner to
start with? I would just use it to cruise around on and maybe jump a
few waves so I don't need a real fast one, looking for one that will
keep me somewhat dry, and is easy to handle, and will hold 2 people so
I can take one of my girlfriends with me sometimes. I live on the
Alabama gulf coast , so it will be used on salt and fresh water if that
makes any difference.

Thanks Debbe

Get a SeaDoo GTi.... a perfect all around boat. I have a 97 and have never
had a problem with it. Tons of storage, 15 gallons of gas, good speed and
can pull a skier/board of you want. If you plan on riding two never buy a so
called 2 seater. Get the three seater and you can ride all day and not have
someone breathing down your neck and its so stable you can both stand up and
switch drivers with ease.
IMHO

PS. As far as keeping dry you dont hardly even get wet unless you want to!
No spray in the face.... sounds like the boat for you

I saw your response to the person getting info on a jet ski for
beginners. I have the opportunity to purchase a '97 GTI Bombardier in
excellent shape for $3750. Do you know what the expected lifespan and
maintenance costs for this model are?

Thanks for any info you may have on it
