People only know the Sizemore's here by how he post's on the net.
I have never seen any good or postive posted by Steve to help
the group. It is his own fault if people get this feeling about
him. I for one know that he could help by giving information to
the newsgroup and if he want's people to feel better about him
and his family he should start acting different. For the people
that he doesn't like here on the net, I hold nothing against that.

Well, even though you didn't ask for it, I'm going to give you my
side... I saw both accidents as plain as day. I don't want to pick
sides at all, and I intend to report as honestly as possible.
First of all, Brett is absolutely one of the best riders I've ever
seen. He outclassed practically everyone out there Saturday.
There's really no doubt about that... Jessie is damn good, but still
has more to learn before he is Brett's caliber. The problem with
Brett is that he knows it. His actions out on the course was totally
uncalled for. He would ride wide open through the starting lanes
seconds before a moto would begin. Since he is the Expert Sport
National Champ, the officials didn't say a word. But believe me, the
spectators did. In one race (I believe it was Expert Mod Sport)
there were just two entries. He got the holeshot by a good margin,
crossed over in front of the other racer then jerked hard the other
way throwing a wall of water in the other fellows face. He was DQ'd
for that (although I must admit, it DID made me laugh). In another
race he purposefully slowed down right at the finish line nearly
causing the fellow behind him to crash. All in all, he was kinda
asking for trouble.
In the race with Vince (Vinny) I believe Brett intentionally ran into
him. It was a close race, for a while, but Vince was having to do
everything possible to hold Brett off. It looked to me like Brett
finally slammed Vince so hard that Vince pulled aside to let Brett by.
Vince was definately in the lead, then we all saw him raise his left
hand into the air while shaking it. He was very pissed. In fact, he
was so pissed that later he walked up to Brett and told him to get up
off the gound so he could kick his ass. This was just after the
Brett/Jessie accident.
As much as Brett might have been responsible for alot of mishap during
the day, I really don't feel he was to blame for Jessie's injury.
This race between Jessie and Brett was the best race of the day (minus
the injuries). Jessie got the holeshot, and held Brett off for a few
laps (which is a feat in itself), but the whole time, Brett was
breathing down Jessie's neck. I'm not just saying Brett was close to
Jessie, I'm saying he was RIGHT BEHIND him. There was simply no room
for mistakes. As much as I hate to say it, I believe Jessie made a
mistake. It looked like Jessie spun out on a sharp right turn, and
Brett plowed right over him. Both came off their boats, but it was
obvious Jessie was injured badly. He was having difficulty breathing
(obviously) and looked like he was in a ton of pain. I feel really
bad for him. He's a good kid. In fact, I met he and some family
members early that morning at a BP station in Georgia, and gave them
directions to the race site. Hell, I just might go visit him
tomorrow. Maybe send him a card or something... You know... To
support our local racers. I wasn't aware he was still in Chattanooga.
While Brett didn't seem to bothered by the incident, he did insist
there was nothing he could do. While I do think his intentions were
to put the pressure on Jessie and cause him to make a mistake, I don't
believe he meant harm. Pressuring the one in front of you is an
extreemly common tactic in racing. I just hate someone got hurt.
On a lighter note . . .
I missed you there. My XP was sportin' the rec.sport.jetski sample
sticker. :)

Jake,
In all due respect, the issue hear is not the capabilities of the
rider, but the false allegations of one rider not abiding by the rules.
Just like in a jury trial, if a witness makes a damaging statement, that
is inadmissable, and the judge instructs the jury to disregard that
statement, the damage is done. Likewise John, was aware of what he was
doing.

Jake, Brett won the national championship because he had a lot of help
from a lot of people, he was consistant, and he was fortunate
enough to be one of the five that attended every tour stop. Phil Farthing
was more instrumental in Brett's success than Brett was.
At Chatanooga, Brett raced four classes. Houstan avens let him ride his xp
in runabout class. Some of the classes were "back to back'' , Jake , and
Brett had to put one boat up and rush to the starting line with the next.
I have been to a lot of races and seen
everyone sitting eagerly on the line , and a racer come dashing from the
pits on his other boat so that he could make the race, after
just finishing one class. Is that what you mean is ''uncalled for"?
Jake , Charie Hattler, and his crew at Hatdawg Racing, run an excellent
race. Some of your statements imply that they don't , and that allow
individuals to break the rules and play favoritism. Thats not nice to
Charlie and his efforts .

Hi;
Of course it's disturbing, but why would it be surprising?
If Brett behaves *anything* like "what's his face" has behaved
"here", I wouldn't be at all surprised.
Otherwise, he was no doubt simply riding to win, and I can't
fault him for that, it's the name of the game.
> I have known Brett for about three years now and he has never tried or
> insinuated that he was going to take some one out.
I didn't read anything that said he *stated* he was going to take someone
out intentionally...or that it even appeared that he was *trying* to hurt
anybody, but the impression I got was that he was certainly "showing off",
which typically results in someone getting hurt.
> I was shocked to even read this post. When Steve posted the explanation

You mean this post isn't from "what's his name" too? I'm shocked.
> I think because steve is a legend on america online people automaticly

A LEGEND!!!? Please, give us all a break! A foul-mouthed nuisance
maybe, but a "legend"???? No "intercoursing" way!
What newsgroup have you been reading!!? Certainly not this one!
Alt.incredible.pwc.fables maybe?
I suppose AOL wiped the stain of a slew of his old posts off of USENET
newsservers because he's such a great guy!!?
> Thats gay........
That's "gay"? Do *all* PWC racers immediately attach homosexual references
to anything they don't agree with?...and people wonder what the big problem
is with the IJSBA...it sure sounds like it has a lot to do with the mentality
of some of the participants.
> Find something else to gossip about....
Hey, perhaps we should repost a few of "what's his name" the AOL LEGEND's
profane words of wisdom, and then you can fill us all in on what you'd
call what he's had to say "here".
I can hardly wait to see his response to this post, I'm sure it'll involve
unnecessary insults, hamsters, homosexual innuendo, sodomy, big hats, cattle,
character assasination, spittle spewing, blatant lying, and general deceit.
(whew, say that three times...fast ;-D )
> Brett is a great guy and just wants to race!!!!
*Maybe* he's a great guy, I really don't know, but if any of the stuff that's
oozed into this 'group from the various AOL accounts attributed to "what's
his face" originated from the ends of Brett's fingers, I'd tend to disagree.
It's obvious that he wants to race, and that he's talented at racing PWC,
but it's been my observation that "talent" without "humility" results in
a less than ideal race competitor, and one who often poses a hazard to others,
especially those with less experience or "talent".
Just my 2 cents, and my personal opinion, like it or don't.
>
> KELLY KURPIL
Maybe this came from the above named individual, maybe it didn't, especially
in light of what we've seen "here" since "what's his face" showed up.
I really don't care. However, virtually any post from a "pwcr...@aol.com" is
now considered a potential "what's his face" forgery.
I now await the inevitable response from my little buddy...I wonder what
insult tangent he'll chose this time???

The only rider he was holding up was Bret. While Vince is indeed an
expert rider, your son is still better. I personally didn't see
anything wrong with what Bret did to Vince. It's all part of racing.
BTW, before you class Vince as a beginner, keep in mind he did beat
Bret in one moto. Hmmm... Of course, that may have been the one
where Bret started with lanyard in hand.

cocky to me. He's a damn good rider, that's for sure. He'll do well
as a pro.
I don't mean to rag on him or anything... Some of his antics were fun

Members of this newsgroup should remember that Steve Sizemore has been the one
posting garbage here not Brett. Brett is obviously a very talented racer and
does not represent his father's lack of etiquette. Accidents happen and
putting the blame on one person for something like this is very cruel and
unwarranted.

If I ever try to "be cold and calculated". You sure won't have to wonder
about it. I asked a simple question. You and others gave their

How's the pump working. I did mispell implication in my previous post.
Look in up in the dictionary . John is a troublemaker frustrated with the
fireplace industry , but an opportunist, I might add. I have been
receiving 50 emails a day from him. I suspect since the support wasn't
there and he feels betrayed by the NG regulars that he expected to jump on
the wagon, John is angry, got a little egg on his face. That shows that
the rest of his buddies have manners, excluding DePardo, and the reject
from Chattanooga, that takes two boats to a race , and hasn't the balls to
do it. (he's been going three years, Maybe next year he will be ready)
>Also I
>>would like to know his (Brett) reasoning for refusing to start with his
Semen, looks to me like John has found Brett guilty. He is already asking
him his reasoning, on something that didn't happen
Semen, Thanks for the opportunity you have given me to show the world that
you are a little jerkoff fumunda a kangaroo's ass.

John ,Want me to posts all the silly E-Mails I get from you everyday? That
would be embarrassing wouldn't it, john? John has so much egg on his face
from trying to exploit a situation involving a young man being injured.
Labor Day is rapidly approaching John, Your fatal heart attack is coming.
Hey mom, feed him the geritol after you get through doing his buddies. GFY
Jake, my friends in Chatanooga been let the cat out of the bag on you.
You are a real sicko. Thanks to the new state law registering offenders
like yourself , you were easy to find.

Your friends "been let the cat out of the bag?" I love your
hillbilly English. Anyone ever told you how sexy you are when you
post wacky messages like this? I think I have a crush on you.
I love you , man. (Can I have some of your Bud Lite?)
That's my story and I'm sticking to it ...... NOT
John, You still have a little egg under your left nostril. I think its
egg. Don't pull it out . Your head might collapse. Labor day is coming
soon . THE BIG ONE
Thats impressive. Anyone need a new fireplace?
You won't have three after I see you Drew. hehehe

Vince , If personnal watercraft racing is such a cakewalk, why are you
walking in the back of the pack. Is it just too easy for you?

Brett Vandeverde and Eric Lagapolus are best of friends. You broke your
own leg moron. Thats the chance you take when you race. I don't blame the
young man that hit Brett for his injuries.
Quit going so slow "Cakewalker" and you want get hit.
ps- I put my hand in the air so Brett would not run into the assend of me
after my boat smoked an O ring.
Mike, do you think that the Steve Sizemore's posts in this newsgroup
reflect the fact that he is a nice guy?
I know people who no longer let their young kids (8 and 9 years old)
read this newsgroup because Steve is always calling someone
"fagboy" or threatening them with violence at the next race. That's
real nice. Truly an ambassodor of our sport.

I agree with Mike D, slap all these sorry ass pencil dicks rite across the
face. Because the Sizemores are real nice people,[including Steve]. The
only reason he is such an ass hole to you people , is because u are dicks
to him and his son. And when you threaten him or his son, Steve and the
slugger are cappable of ringing your little necks in Havasu.
GOOD LUCK IN
HAVASU BRETT SEE YOU
THERE. AND HI TO ALL THE SIZEMORES

You are so right. We are so ashamed of being mean to Steve. I got news for
you punk, Steve Sizemore is without question the biggest blue jeaned, butt
fuc_ing redneck as_shole to ever visit rec sport jetski. He's been nothing
but a first class jackass from his first post.
Also, after reviewing posts from all you boy racers I can see how you all
bond so well. Every one of you write like illiterate punk retards, if you
weren't so freaking ignorant you would be embarrassed to post anything.
B.T.W., do you think you will be capable of spelling the word "capable"
before you graduate with your G.E.D.?
Is Vern got the gerbil out of his ass and back on the net? Well Vernie
Poo, I think your a silly a_ _ Fa_ _ _ t. You are the mental midget of the
newsgroup, and have a reputation of being a silly punk. Your ex- wife told
me you played the meat whistle in your high school band and how you were
so proud . She said that you recently graduated to the Bag pipes. Good job

Drew, I suggest a good personnal health insurance policy.
Steve, why do you cut out the address to your website when you reply to
messages? Are you not "proud" of your hard work? I know you accidently
cut the address, so I will repost it so the world can see how talented
you are. You can thank me later. Remember what I said. ;)

YOU ARE WELCOME, STEVE!
This is gettin downright ridiculous, I've much better things to do with
my time (and my computer). Somebody let me know if things ever change
and become civil in this newsgroup again...
Thanks and good luck!

Two questions for the masses!
Any recommendations on add-on sponsons for a 1990 WRIII? Got mine
running for the first time since I bought it and it turned out to be less
stable getting on and riding then the SD GSX that I'm use to riding. So
what can I do to stabilize it? I'm thinking sponsons, how about one of
those extended ride plates? The ski becomes very unstable chop water
when moving at less then half throttle (kind of where I like to cruise at
since I'm not a hot dog rider but more of an adventurer!)
Secondly, has anyone had problems with the start/stop/lanyard switches on
their ski? I shorted out my start switch yesterday trying to start the
ski, it wouldn't allow the starter to stop running! When I opened the
switches up I noticed they were burnt, and dry! I was kind of surprised
that there was no non-conductive grease in them to keep them from
arching. Has anyone ever added the non-conductive grease to the inside
of their switches?
Thanks,
Paul Lewis

Alright this is too much, this is just funny,to start out im going to
keep this clean, because all of you people running your mouth dont even
know half the people that visits this news group[like Steve Lawler head
race manager of yamaha and people from sea doo] thanks to my friends the
Farthings I knothis know.
ok Vince here it is
1. rubbings racing, do all u can to win
2.brett never never almost killed Laggopilis im buddys with them and there
has never even been talk of that.
3.I hope brett does race runabout next year because then twill be 2 of us
out in front of u.
4.you could never out run one of my NEPTUNE limiteds, and I would quit
racing if one of your limiteds could out run one of my NEPTUNE SS.
5.and if bret did race runabout then there is one more place you would
go down in the national tour rankings
6.and last but not least my limited will out run the boat brett was on,
but i bet he came out of the hole quiker then all u guys
well see u in havasu

HeY Cody,
Vince quit motocross because it was a little to tuff for him.
Brett raced motocross today at muddycreek rather than to go embarrass Vince
in Nashville, at the jetski race. We didn't fare to well, as it is a tough
sport and this is just our third time out. I can't wait for Vinv\ce a
Jake-off , his bubba toget on line . Jake is a real backwoods pedifile.
Vince must look alot younger than he is.
Keep that Neptune boat flying and good luck at havisoo. hehe
