Can anyone tell me if it will be worth bringing my jetski along on a
vacation
to the Ft. Myers / Sanibel Island area near the end of May? I'd be looking

for big waves to launch off, but people have told me the water may be very
calm. Living in Pittsburgh, it would be a very long drive for jetskiing on

conditions just like on one of our three rivers.

Thanks,
Rick

Rick, it really depends on the weather. It has been windy as hell on
both coasts of Florida lately (see Bubba's posts) but you never can
tell until you hit the water. It's been five weeks of good waves on
the East coast of Florida and I think pretty much the same over in
Ft. Myers. Where ya from in Pittsburgh? Used to live in Monroeville.

Drop "Bubba" a line at <bubb...@worldnet.att.net> who can give
you West Coast conditions....

I have to agree with Phantom, our waves have been huge this winter..Its a hit
or miss situation in the summer..we dont have Spring here..it called rainy &
dry season and well its been the best winter here I have ever seen!
I would still bring the skis even if there are no waves the riding down here is
great...
