No insult, but that ski is a dog. The technology is old, and top
speed, if I recall, was around 35 mph. A twenty year old ski is going
to be problems. The industry was new and the craft were "experiments"
at best.

It's not a fast ski, or particularly stable which is kinda fun rolling
over, but it was a thousand times more reliable than the piece of shit
Yamaha GP1200 I sold it to buy. I had to return the GP under Magnusson-
Moss Warranty Protection Act and refuse to pay for it. It was just awful.
I wished I'd never sold my little 650. It wasn't going to win any races,
but when you took off you knew you were going to make it back to the dock
unless it ran out of fuel.
There's two Kawasaki Jetskis with, I think, 550cc engines in them sitting
on my neighbor's dock. They are really OLD and his grandkids must have put
5000 hours on them over all those summers. They've never been to the shop
that I know of and WERE NEVER FLUSHED AFTER RUNNING IN THE SALT WATER
RIVER! They'll crank every time......It's disgusting.
I don't think he's put more than new batteries in them in years....
Hello to everyone from the old days. I was just passing by and thought I'd
drop by to see who was still here spending and spinning wrenches...
