That detonation was traced back to the faulty stator coil; all the cooling in
the world wouldn't have stopped that failure. Sadly, it cost a bit over that
$2K figure when it was all done, but there were some "upgrades" along the way.

PS: Gary, you need to learn to reply to the same subject header so the
"conversation" can be followed. Starting a new subject header each times makes
it impossible to follow. I'll be glad to explain that better sometime........
