Our Roller Hockey League here in northwest Ohio is going to resurface their
playing area. Right now we are playing on a late 1970's tennis court. We
are planning on using a blacktop sealer to lay over the cracked court, but
I have heard that when the dew and dust collect on the surface of the
sealer, it makes the court very slippery. Also when making tight turns it
will make your wheels fall out from underneath you and you will fall on
your hip. Is their other Roller Hockey Leagues out there that skate on a
sealed court that have any trouble with it? I'm also curious to hear
stories from other players that skate on tennis, concrete, or any other
outdoor court. If anyone has any other suggestions or comments on how to
resurface our court please e-mail me, because I don't get back to this
newsgroup very often.
Thanks,
Steve
