Pacific Rim Tournament (Canada, USA, Japan, China)
o San Jose, California from April 1-8, 1995.
European A Championships (Finland, Sweden, Switzerland,
Germany, Norway, and ???)
o Riga, Estonia during March 1995
Canada/USA challenges
---------------------
The USA is staging a North American challenge tournament March 9-15,
1995, in Lake Placid and would like a senior Canadian club team of 18
years and over to participate. This will be discussed at the CHA's
(Canadian Hockey Association) Female Council meeting in November in
Ottawa.
The US Women's Under 18 team will be coming together to train in
Lake Placid in July and would like to play two games somewhere in
Eastern Ontario or Quebec in July 1995. This will also be discussed
at the Female Council meeting.
Team Canada Coaches

These six coaches have been named to Team Canada's National Team
Coaching Pool:
(1) Melody Davidson (Team Canada assistant coach 94)
(2) Julie Healey
(3) Karen Hughes (current University of Toronto coach)
(4) Shannon Miller (Team Canada assistant coach 92 & 94)
(5) Rick Polutnik (Team Canada head coach 92)

backyard, I would love to see this, especially if Cammi Granato is going
to be playing for the U.S.! I wonder, since its listed as being in San
Jose, whether its going to be played at the Arena?

This information was in the Canadian National Team newsletter (this
newsletter is distributed to all players who have played for Team Canada
since 1990). Unfortunately this was the only information that was listed.
I should hear more about it in the next newsletter. I would suggest
contacting Hockey USA if you need further details.
Yes, it's very likely that Cammi Granato will play for Team USA again.
I'll ask her when I talk to her this weekend. As far as I know, she is
still playing for Concordia University in Montreal, and we (the University
of Toronto) have a game against them in Montreal this Sunday.
I don't think I will be able to play for Team Canada again because
the groin/hip injury that I have that just doesn't seem to want to
go away! :-(
