Jeez, who ever called Joe Sakic a playoff choker must be getting their nosed
rubbed in it by now. No matter how far the Avalanche go in the playoffs, Joe
Sakic has officially convinced me he's no playoff choker.

i remember last year in the first round against the rangers, the 'diques
were down by 2 in the third period, and sakic scored a natural hat trick
to help them win by 1. i thought that would be enough to get rid of the
'choker' tag, but i guess since they lost the series, it wasn't enough.
he also had that potential game-winner that was disallowed because kovalev
was writhing on the ice.
