Ten highest paid players in the NHL

A recently published story in the Toronto Star gave the 1991-92 salaries of
almost all NHL players. The story is protected by copyright, so I won't
duplicate the info here. However, here are the top ten highest paid players
(adjusted for Canada-U.S. exchange rate):

1. Wayne Gretzky
2. Mario Lemieux
3. Pat LaFontaine
4. Brett Hull
5. Steve Yzerman
6. Kevin Stevens
7. John Cullen
8. Ray Bourque
9. Scott Stevens
10. Denis Savard.

Mark Messier will probably be the second highest paid player in the very near
future. If you want to know the salary figure of any NHL player, let me know

I believe Mario is number one after you figure in his promotions (Even
after you figure in Wayne's promos...)

FYI Mario has a fairly new venture. He's got "Mario Lemieux Hockey." It's
great. I bought a Sega Genesis when I heard about it. :) I played a demo
copy at the store but they didn't have any in stock to sell. I can't wait. :)
