During the regular season a tie occurs when both teams have
scored the same number of goals be the end of a five-minute overtime
period. An overtime loss (OTL) occurs when the game is tied at the
end of three periods but one team scores in the overtime period.
During the play-offs the overtime contines until one team wins,
