I have a CCM half visor that is suppose to be "non-fogging" - I bought
it at the beginning of last years season and didn't have many problems
until I started using it this season. It has been fogging up on a
regular basis - to the point that I have to flip it up because I can't
see in the middle of a shift. I bought some Itech anti-fog spray but I
find that this doesn't work very well.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do/buy to make this
visor stop fogging or suggest a new visor that doesn't fog.
I thank you in advance for all your time.

I've found that a new visor is much easier to keep fog free
than an older one. Once you get little scratches on it it
seems to fog *much* easier regardless of what you do to it.
I've got a flannel bag that I keep the helmet in now, and
use a flannel cloth at the bench to wipe it. Never use your
gloves or fingers - they just make it worse. I've had some
limited success with anti-fog cleaning spray for glasses.
The key seems to be to keep all of the dirt/sweat off the
visor to begin with. I know people who use dish soap and
say it works well. YMMV.

Two other things :
i) Pam cooking spray. Mix it with water before applying.
ii) isopropanol 99%. You'll have to apply it maybe three times per hour.

Hi....
When guys use to fog up thier mask ..it was a sign of too heavy breathing and
thus a sign that your lungs are out of shape...
The best rememdy for this is to go get PERT shampoo.. the one for regular
hair...
You get a small amount in the face mask and then you rub and swirl it until it
buffs clear..... Then you bring a small tiny bottle to the rink...then put a
bit of it in a towel to soak it a bit... And between shifts wipe the mask with
the towel and buff it clear.... The trick is preventative maintainance....this
WILL keep the mask from fogging...
The mistake most players make is waiting till it fogs..then it is tougher to
stop the fogging..
