I wear glasses under a full cage. I just bought a helmet one size too
big, and it works great.

I just wear my regular glasses to play. No eyeshield over them, and the
Nikon lenses don't fog up, except if you put an anti-fog solution on them. I
used to wear contacts to play but had one forcibly removed with the blade of
a stick and have not worn them since. My glasses allow me to see and also
give me a measure of protection for my eyes.

In 25 years of playing hockey I have broken 1 pair of glasses and that was
because in a fight they got knocked off and when we went to the ice, I
kneeled on them by accident.

I've also been very lucky in that 25 years having only been cut twice in the
face. The first being the incident with the contact lens and took 2 stiches,
the 2nd was two years ago and got my bottom lip split by a stick.
